screenshots on the website

Update the screenshots on the website when you release a new version of the game. The ones up right now don't look like the VO I just played at all.

NOT true. With the exception of the hud, everything you see in the screenshots you can see in the game. It'll just be a bit further away, but we have the increased ship speeds to thank for that.

I crackbotted for the explosions.
Not the levels.
Though I wish I did it a little more cause when someone tells me they got 500 xp from killin me... its just great.
I think I might start levelin just to see how much xp someone can get from killin me.
I mean that's just cool when someone levels from killing a person.
And it NEVER happens.

I intend to shoot some new screenshots once the new ships are in there and such.

We've also wanted a user-submitted screenshot dealie for a long while, but it's been on the back burner. Perhaps in the next website redux (not far out). It requires a submission and administrive/approval interface, to let guides approve shots and keep people from posting porn or whatever, so that's why it has been put off to date.

What I want to know is how on earth you people get such high quality results from the screen. I mean, really. It's like, I tried taking a screenshot

You have your graphics settings turned way down there; go into video and graphics under options to turn them up (though if you don't have a good GPU, you may experience some low framerates with them turned up).

Speaking of that, devs, any chance we could have the 'Video' and 'graphics' control panels consolidated? it's really confusing to have them both....

There's been a number of submissions already. How about you give us the size and list of things you're looking for and some general guidelines (aka, hud settings, regular UI or custom skins etc)? We could bring out a whole bunch for you and then you'd only have to make your picks.
