So when I'm in 3rd person view and attempt to roll, It doesnt work. I thought it was like this for everyone until i saw a few of the videos out now. Not a big deal, but i'd like to fix it if i can. Running on PC with Windows XP.

That's just the mouse control system. In mouselook mode, it tries to synchronize your ship's up direction with the screen's up direction. But in an external camera tied to your ship, that obviously doesn't work. If you tap ';' to toggle mouselook you can roll in an external camera.
