can't roll clockwise while using turbo+zoom
I was turboing towards a station and using zoom ("i") to scope out the entrances when I noticed that I could roll CCW ("q") but not CW ("e"). As soon as I come out of zoom, both roll directions work. SImilarly, I can roll in both directions if I use zoom without turbo.
This is 100% reproducible. In case it matters, I was flying an Atlas at the time.
FYI, this is on Mac OS X 10.2.8.

Confirmed.
Also, if turbo and either CCW or CW are used, +zoom will not work.

I asked a Linux and Windows user to test this and the Linux user (Spider) had the same problem while the Windows user (Mick) could rotate both ways.
Thanks guys

I think this is because of the way keyboards work. You can only hold down so many keys at once. I use a nostromo n52 for vendetta, and I don't experience this at all.
Or it could be a mac version bug. (I'm on linux)

I have added "tab" as +turbo and am able to rotate both ways that way but not while using "s" as +turbo.
I AM able to rotate both ways ("q" & "w") while using "d" to strafe left, "z" to go in reverse and also fire weapons using "space" and "v"

I have not remapped any keys. I am using a Logitech USB keyboard which supports MAC OS X (native drivers and all). Tab, then add "i", then add "e" is the only combo I have seen fail.
Does tab then i then e work in an editor?
With the standard apple keyboard, that combination works fine for me.

I can replicate this bug with a ps/2 windows and a adb mac keyboard. In my case it's the cheap ass keyboard that is causing the problem. Although my Mac USB keyboard does work, my windows USB does not. My understanding is that the windows USB keyboard is most likely a ps/2 plugged into a usb interface so, that splains that.
Interestingly enough on both platforms with keyboards that fail:
'tab' + 'q' + 'i' works in an editor
'tab' + 'e' + 'i' does not work in an editor
Use an i-pac

and you can build yourself a game keyboard with 1 interupt per key... good for mame cabinents too. You'll never run into the too-many keys held down problem again.

I just tried Tab-i-e in a text editor, and it works fine.
I dunno. The only way that would happen is if the OS isn't sending me the keydown event.
Have you tried altering your key setup? If it's a hardware problem, then setting different keys should eventually find a solution that allows all functions to work. However, a great many keyboards will rarely be able to handle more than three or four keys held down simultainously before they start to 'ignore' certain keys. In these situations, you may want to look to more innovative solutions, such as the turbo toggle bind, to reduce your need to use multiple keys.
This is in all probability not a bug with Vendetta, but with the way your keyboard is hardwired. The only way to know which it is would be to alter your key binds- if a new set produces full function or a diferent key stops responding, then the problem is entirely with the keyboard. However, if it keeps losing the clockwise rotation even with several different key setups, then the problem is most likely with the game.

I have:
"s" set as +turbo
"i" set as +zoom
"q" set as rotateCW
"w" set as rotateCCW
I can't use "w" if I have already pressed "s" and "i".
I can't use "i" if I have already pressed "s" and either "q" or "w".
These are the only combinations of 3 keys I have found that do not work for me in Vendetta).
On my keyboard, I am able to use 6 keys simultaneously (including tab as the first key pressed. Ray: this was also confirmed on an editor.).
