When you need to alter a post, use the edit link rather than reposting. When you do repost by accident, you use the delete link to get rid of the extras.

What web browser are you using? Even on Android I still see them using Safari. Are you somehow logging out after posting?

Humm, I am installing IE9 to try and investigate this. First I've heard of it.

The link/edit/delete/reply icons appear correctly if you disable compatibility view. This will cause some text to not look right on the page, but it will make the forums more usable.

IE9 is apparently a whole new world of broken. Fantastic.
