Lar Project: Uplink Surgery (Failed)
Hi.
I was doing the "Party Errand" missions and when I got to the "Lar Project: Uplink Surgery" I did the surgery and clicked on the "Complete Mission" button and then the mission failed.
This is the mission log:
"Congratulations!
You have been accepted as a participant of our secret LAR project. If you bring us some of the raw materials we need you will have your own Valent A-3 Assault Robot to follow you around as a bodyguard, familiar, pet.
However, in order to do this we must first surgically install you with a cybernetic Uplink using a standard Serco procedure.
We realize this may be a moral issue for you, so the choice is yours wheter or not you want to go ahead with the surgery... if you decline there will be no negative repercussions but you will not be able to take part in the project.
The time has come to make your choice, mrGarvin. Do you accept the procedure?
Surgery 50% complete
Surgery 80% complete
Finished! That wasn't so bad. was it? Now you are ready to begin collecting raw materials to build your very own A-3 assault Robot. Head over to Verasi E-14, Verasi Central to start the manufacturing process.
Complete Mission
Very well, mrGarvin. No hard feelings from us. Thanks for all the work you have done.
We will not forget."
How can I fail a mission when I completed it?

It looks like the mission skipped around as you took it, it definitely should not have behaved that way.
Did you deliver the items the mission asked for? Anything out of the ordinary, other than the fact the mission failed when it should have completed?
(to any other PCC members this mission is ID#653)
If you could tell me whether the next mission in Verasi E-14 "LAR Project: Robot Manufacture" shows up or not that would also help narrow it down.

No I didn't get any instructions to collect items. Yes I've checked several Valent stations, including Dau N-2 and Nyrius K-14, and I can't find any missions from the "LAR Project" or previous missions.
Thank you for your patience mrGarvin, I am working on resolving the issue.
Okay, thank you.
Will I be able to do the mission again?
Will I be able to do the mission again?
I personally don't have the power to reset the mission for you, but one of the devs might.
Okay. Can you contact them or should I do it?
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for your help.
Talked to one of the devs. Thank you for your help Phaserlight! :)
In case there is any doubt, I was able to confirm this bug has been squashed.
