Trident M logging/docking kills passengers
I've had this happen enough times to make a little sense of it: I believe that only the first person aboard gets properly ejected from the trident upon the trident pilot's disconnect, logout, or docking at the shipyard. Everyone else is sent back to their home station with no ship and any cargo they were carrying is lost.
The first time this happened, I had 2 newbs aboard in Dau, and we went to visit a static queen sector, when the entire queen escort went aggro on the trident, all the rapid damage from so many sources froze my client (I think this was an interaction with the MAID plugin, as I had a full hold, and it spammed my readout with "cargo hold is full" on every bot's hit). When I logged back in (trident at 40%), one newb reported to be ejected and the other had "died" back to his home station, no ship.
The next time was with 4 vets who all boarded at Latos M7 via /gunner invites. We tested to see if other ships could still dock (since theoretically the hangar was still empty) to no avail: We could not dock a 5th pilot this way. I headed back to dock with M7, but this time, since nobody aboard had ships to be ejected with, everyone died back to home stations the moment I docked, rather than being able to disembark at the station where they boarded. The only other times I had docked with a passenger they had been successfully ejected, but I was only carrying one on those occasions.
The most recent was an intentional logout on my part. I told the 2 passengers to launch, but they both got caught in the logout. The first to board was ejected and the second was sent to home station. 200 Gauss Cannons evaporated into thin space.
Oh, one more unrelated experiment happened with those last 2 pilots: we tried having them dock in an atlas with one of them as a gunner: that pilot got trapped in the trident, unable to take over a turret (no tactical tab for him and no ship comm), but did not launch with the atlas. He had to /explode inside me to escape. (I might be pregnant)
P.S. until this is fixed, can I get a PK for all the people who die that way? ;)

I bet they weren't wearing their seat belts.
and I was texting while piloting.
