Once you have built the reactor and can see the entry to the station the jump range on your hud is always 0m and the jump button in nav tab is always grey'd out, the only way to get out is by guessing when your at 3k and hitting enter.

Seems to work like storm exit points, it thinks thats the only exit

Leaving the station, you just have to turbo straight away on your launch vector for about 25 seconds (at Moth XC speeds) and you are clear to jump.
