I completed the whole mission tree fine but theres a lot of reasons not to use these guys:

- they attack conquerable station turrets and die

- when i had two following me, if one got lost the other would get lost after the next jump and id have to go find them both(i was in a 50,000 kg moth so its hard to believe they couldnt keep up)

- after travelling with them and then docking somewhere else, they turn on me! But only if they get close enough, i can fly out of the station sector and go somewhere else and then they wont attack me

Did you happen to scrape against the station as you were docking? This is a known issue; the bots' behavior is set to attack anyone who damages you so if you damage yourself they are like "bad player! hurting yourself! now we kill you!11"

Just be careful when you dock.

When you brought them to the conquerable station, were the turrets firing at you? I don't think the furies would initiate combat on their own unless they are getting... smarter. Evolving...

Sometimes the bots need a few minutes to catch up (they are somewhat slow about jumping), but they do generally find you.

i cant be sure if it was because i bumped myself when i dock, but thats probably it as i was flying a moth and i dont like to park carefully.

No i docked at the conq station fine and then i went out and they were gone and the mission had ended. If the bots only attack things that damage me it mustve been the turrets that attacked the furies.

It makes sense that the turrets wouldn't recognize the bots, as they dont have keys. By makes sense, i mean sounds plausible, not that it should happen.

What mission is this?
