Yes they do. Your browser is just smart enough to look at all those open tags and go "wtf is this bullshit?"

Bumpity bump bump.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but a bug like this (especially when it has been around for so long as it has) does not make a good impression. If I were new to VO and found out that your forum is too stupid to close hanging tags, and that it has been a known issue for more than a year, without a dev even deigning to say "Yeah, we know, but the game is more important, yadda yadda," I would begin to wonder how many blatant bugs the game itself might have, and that could be the deciding factor toward spending my money on some other game.

Fortunately I know better, but newbies might not.

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to do it for you for free, if you you're willing to let me. Not sure if deciding whether it's worth it and hooking me up with the code would be less hassle than just fixing it yourself though.

BTW, it says "© Copyright 2004-2010 Guild Software Inc. All rights reserved." at the bottom of the page. Couple years out of date, eh?

clearly the game died two years ago, they just forgot to turn off the server
