the fighters that escort the war convoys do not fire on serco/itani/ctc/ jack unless first fired directly upon, and even then only the individual fighter which took damages attempts to engage the player that shot it...basically they are utterly useless.

I've seen Itani KoS with Serco attack a Serco War Convoy fighter (not in transit) and not receive any retaliation.
