Convoy exit point different when not in a storm
Last night around I had a convoy and noticed it did not proceed to the exit point even when not in a storm sector. While it is not a problem in normal space per say I assume it is related to the storm exit bug. I hailed the cappie with "Greetings from the Phoenix Alliance" to make it easier to find.
Most likely related to Alternate exit for convoys in ion storm ???
Now that you posted that, I noticed that a few times, after entering a WH, the convoy goes into random direction, not the marked "+"...

I assumed as much - it isnt as noticable because you can exit anywhere. It seems to be happening roughly about every 4 jumps or so.
Is this a bug? It seems in my experience that the exit point is determined based on where you are in the sector when you plot your course.
For example, if you set a course in a non-storm sector and travel a ways out so that the exit point is 10,000m+ away then set a new course, the exit point will change to be closer to you.
Similarly, when following collectors back to the queen, as soon as the collectors start to leave, if I plot a course while near the collectors I'll usually get an exit point near where they leave. If I am a far out from where they were mining and plot a course, my exit point will be somewhere else completely.
That leads me to believe that a convoy's exit is not intended to necessarily match the player when not in a storm.

Confirmed bug, even got some screens as evidence.
It happened a few times in last days. Convoy crosses WH, then heads away from "+" mark on radar.
Must be related to Ion storm bug.
@Meridian
And its not about you alone, its a convoy bug. All ships in one convoy must have same route, and that includes you, NPCs and jump points.
