Aye, there was a storm in I-8, I logged out in the station, logged in and there was still a storm but there was no jump point marked on my HUD (and yes, I did have a course plotted). I had to follow some guys to where I though the exit point might be with my raptor to get out of there. Could have been an isolated incident, I haven't been able to replicate it.
