Whoever told you it was fixed was lying through their teeth. As a matter of fact it seems like it's gotten worse in the last couple of weeks.

I can't scientifically demonstrate that it has gotten worse; that's just an impression. It does demonstrably happen at a rate high enough to be annoying though.
