I just got the 1.2.3.3 update and that installed itself just fine. But when I go to enter the game, I get the initial "Loading" screen and then it just stops. No little bar moving at the bottom or anything else. Just nothing. And my machine isn't crashed - it's just that vendetta stops.

What's up?

That's extremely odd, perhaps a reinstall of vendetta could fix it.

I've heard something about a few dead sectors. Maybe you logged off in one. Can you get ingame with a new char?

Right now I can't connect to the Guild Update Server, so I'll see what's up later. The reinstall options looks good for now.

Update:

I can get on with a different character. My regular character (DigitalTerrorist) is in Edras I-2 right now. What's up with that? I've sent a report to the Devs and we'll see what happens.

That sector is dead. It'll probably be live again in a few hours:P

Fixed for now.. I'll be playing whack-a-mole until this is fixed, hopefully tomorrow, definitely Monday.

I also had some problems last night.

Problem 1: I had a really bad connection with the game, but all other sites were fine. The update should have taken me less than a minute to download but it dragged out to 10.

Problem 2: Related to problem 1, my loading times sucked, I was stuck on the entering station screen for over a minute before I got in. Also, my average ping was about 200, it's usually below 80. (Because of these loading times, I did not try to travel anywhere, thus I didn't see the new cap ships :(.)
