The idea to update and translate the manual has been discussed a couple of times, mostly in the PCC forum. Usually that fizzled out without making any progress. I'm giving this another try. I've thrown the current manual and a few bits of a german translation onto the wiki (hopefully without too many spelling errors :P)

Some of the more glaringly out of date stuff in the manual could probably be fixed on the way, but a whole update of the thing would probably be too much effort.

To add another translation add /<language> to the url, create the page and add the tag {{languages|Manual}}. Example: http://vo-wiki.com/wiki/Manual/de

I am trying to join the effort, but I am unable to create a new page...

I tried both http://vo-wiki.com/wiki/Manual/pt and http://vo-wiki.com/wiki/Manual/pt-br

that lead me to a page without any (create) or (edit) hyperlink or button.

I also tried to add a link to a new page, [[brazil]] as test, but again the wiki won't allow me to create a new page.

I am logged in, and can edit any page, but cannot create a new one. My mistake or bug?

People who have verified their email are supposed to be able to create new pages. For some reason, this is not the case (blame CrazySpence). So, you'll either need to get CrazySpence to fix it, or ask one of these people to create the initial page for you.

I got more or less until the station interface part. That#s where it turns into effort though.
