In haste to offer offense to Bidi Baba and any ally or associate he might have, I did not check guild tags. Had I realized members of a standing treaty where involved, I would have checked my fire.

My apologies for being short with you earlier, Roda. I wasn't quite sure what happened, and I accept your offer. Since I'm not usually on at this time, I give permission for you to pass it on to a TGFT council member, who can then transfer it to me.

Wow! Roda just violated its "longest standing treaty" by attacking poor Aurelius Sol. Pretty hilarious considering Roda just posted all those war notifications. Funniest thing is Roda is only offering 1 million for violating an outstanding agreement and shooting down one of their members. Rather cheap Roda considering your exorbitant demands.

Well... I don't expect that a long standing treaty will go forever without indecent. I have not kept close count of the number of incidents that have occurred in relation to this particular treaty, with guilt being distributed to both sides, depending on the specific incident in question. A lot depends on how committed the interested parties are in resolving issues as they arise, and in this respect TGFT has proven itself honorable and committed, and I have striven to match that commitment.
I remember in the early days of the treaty with TGFT there was one overly spunky member that was raring to wage war. But his commitment to his guild and the guild's commitment to make and stand by a treaty brought things to a manageable understanding. That same member later became the commander of TGFT, and for whatever reason continued to maintain and honor the treaty, proving that not only can a guild make and keep an agreement, but that such commitment can survive multiple administrations. Last I heard, he was still the commander.
Humans are human, and mistakes will be made, but the honorable seek peace, where peace is to be found.

Actually ladron, when flying an XC, it's not like you can shoot back, even if you want to. But as much money as I'm making while you all kill each other in B8, I don't really mind being killed once in a while. And frankly, this is the first time that Roda has done anything to me personally, and he has offered to compensate me for the losses of 800k in cargo and 200k for the ship.
