I, Roda Slane, did go to Deneb Sector B-10, which at that time was a major focus of the ongoing Serco/Itani conflict, in the form of ongoing Border Patrols by both sides, with the intent to defend newer pilots from seasoned veterans. Before having opportunity to identify pilots or status, I was engaged without cause or explanation by one Waffles of Soggy, a member of [ITAN]. After repeatedly defeating Waffles of Soggy, I was ganked by a coordinated force of [ITAN]. After attempts for a negotiated resolution with the then commander of [ITAN], Smittens, where fruitless, I decided to openly war [ITAN].

I'd say more, but your persistence leads me to believe you already know where I live, which at this point is more then a little unnerving.

I can't be bothered to track which arrogant egomaniac smurf is in charge of [ITAN] from one week to the next.

I would be more than willing to put the entire issue to rest for a mere 50 mil. But such an expenditure would be a complete waste for a guild that is not willing to expel violators, and would thus simply end up at war again.

OH! I remember this. Lets see it was right when i first started playing... ummm.. back in the summer of '06. I saw a red dot on the radar, so I attacked it, and i was immediately destroyed. Pretty sure I didn't land a lit. Did i mention I just started playing?

Your persistence after I explained that I was not a valid target was annoying. Your guild mates decision to gank me because you could not stop yourself from attacking me or stop dying to me was over the limit. Me attempting to deal with smittens sealed everything in concrete.

"with the intent to defend newer pilots from seasoned veterans" is as it sounds. Newbs went to border patrol to hunt bots and perhaps get in fights with other newbs. But some vets had a habit of avoiding the bots and even avoiding other vets and strictly targeting newbs. Since border patrol was an important source of xp for many serco and itani newbs, this just isn't a very nice thing to do. I went to target the vets that where targeting newbs.
