Can we wrap this up? I appreciate that a lot of people really care about the game and want us to have an increased player base, and I totally agree with those goals and am working on them as hard as I possibly can. We're looking at different business model options, and ways of bringing in more people without screwing up the game or changing the dynamics in a way that betrays the spirit of the Vendetta Online we've all come to know.

But I think most people have made their points by now, and when we start just calling each other names there probably isn't much more to be said. Yes, the game needs more users. Yes, evolving the business model in different ways has varied possibilities for growth and risk. None of them are simple choices, they all have secondary ramifications to be considered.. not to mention taking time for us to engineer at all. We are working on some possibilities, and as soon as I feel comfortable announcing them, I will do so.

Perhaps you could extend the trial period a bit for like a "January sale" and let the likes of Android authority and perhaps a post on over clocks and a few other places, although that might be best left to any announcement with regards change in business model.

Basically he just told you to "Shut it", that doesn't mean you pitch him more ideas.

I don't see this as Shut it at all.
They are actually acknowledging many of the shortcomings and that's not a Shut it at all.

In fact it's more of a "We know" but haven't an exact solution yet; or we have not broadcast the detailed solutions of these shortcomings yet.
But certainly not Shut it at all.

And why must you reply to this anyhow ?
People like the game and want more content and/or players. Why do people want to act like "OH NO there is nothing wrong here"

The devs have acknowledged these topics and agree so why do you complain about what they have already acknowledged.

If your tired of talking about it, or reading about it then don't.

A relatively new player posted something about his initial experience aka basically a survey given in the forum; and people are jumping on his back.

Something seems strange about this.
Are you related to them somehow ? Why such a defensive position ?

It just seems so strange that people would react so rudely to someone who recently just started playing the game and voice an opinion about their experience.

If you want to drive players away that's one way to do it.

Which brings up another subject altogether.
Maybe it's not the game that has trouble attracting players but perhaps the lack of moderated chat and forums that cause players to leave do to the new players bad experience with other players.
Probably not but with the limited number of players one could find they are out numbered by drama queens and simply move on to something else where they don't have to deal with that.

Of course that is speculation but should not be overlooked either.
