CTC is not a fair game. The Itani blockade at the Wormhole from Ukari to Initros, seems to be killing the Serco Transport about 50% of the time. I am watching an Itani sit next to a Frigate at the blockade, waiting for the Serco Transport to be killed by the blockade, picking up the ore, and then waiting for the next transport.
Being a Serco, I do not even have a chance at removing the Itani picking up the Ore at the blockade. I have to beat all the fire power from the blockade, then take fire from the Itani in a Valk, too.
So, I even shot my own transport once, took the faction hit, and delivered the ore through Helios instead of through Initros.
There is no blockade at Edras to the Itani nation.
So, if you are Itani, just sit at the blockade, and collect your gems. You can't lose....

The Serco's need for the absolute minimal effort is appalling
Here are some things you could do to improve your situation instead of incorrectly complaining:
-Go win border skirmishes in deneb, the blockades are based on who is winning, currently the Serco are not so Itani have a blockade
-Destroy the blockade with a couple serco pals, it is a multi player game after all
-Go to bractus and snipe the Itani Convoy when it launches
-Go through helios instead of intrios to get to grey

He's right. It's not fair. The Itani don't have an easy way around when there's a blockade in Edras.
these forums need a like button so I can apply it to the above comment

Awesome. Why bother with the game at all? We can just declare the winner, the people winning the border war?

Quit incorrectly complaining. Master Copy and Paste... ((( using your logic )))

That is true. But this is about where the Serco CTC Transport is going. If you look, the transport is passing the big bad ships to Initros (just like it would be in Edras), and not the wimpy vultures and hogs to Helios. So one exit/entrance is basically, a troll argument for this topic.

I like how you avoided the whole destroying the blockade part which would actually solve your problem heh
Good ol easy way out Serco

As CrazySpence explained, Blockades are "Deneb War Penalties"... but you also can hire 3rd parties to wipe it, since they will ignore UIT and its own nationals...
CtC is not fair nor logical on convoys departing stations and routes. Both should depart from the same system, Odia. at same distance. Such a rare item should be produced only in one system, Odia.

Get there and try. One single dedicated Serco player can turn the tide and sent blockades to Itani's border. Winner is not declared, it actually is the result of week's battles...

If you don't like the blockade, kill it. If you can't do it yourself, ask other players to help you. Try channel 11 and see if any other Serco are available.
I personally lead Itani bombing attacks to clear the Serco ships from Edras pretty often. It's part of the game.

I and everyone else in [ONE] regularly destroy the itani blockade in Ukari A-10. If you see me or any member of [ONE] on, /msg us. We'll help you take it out. Get used to seeing a blockade occasionally in Ukari though, the itani outnumber us greatly on top of getting lots of help from the UIT.
Also, I'm laughing pretty hard at the fact that [itan] is now outsourcing their CTC work to another guild [CBSM]. Oh well, gives us more targets to shoot :>

The CTC is not relegated to simply one guild to accomplish. While [Itan] is considered a nationalist guild, do also remember that [Itan] does not represent the Itani nation as a whole. While our interests are towards the betterment of the Itani nation, it is not solely up to us to accomplish these goals.
Paying someone else from another nation to fight your battles isn't very "nationalist" by definition. You're now in a guild that "just kinda prefers itani".
To my knowledge, no such transaction has been authorized. But I'm hardly in a position to speak on the matter.
EDIT:
Here's a little word lesson.
nationalist (noun): 1. an advocate of or believer in nationalism
nationalism (noun): 1. loyalty and devotion to a nation; especially : a sense of national consciousness exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups
It doesn't say that a nationalist can't enlist the help of others to pursue their goals.

You're missing the point by miles. You're still paying someone else to fight your battles, which is the sad/pathetic part. But this is already gone far enough off-topic.
When you lose, they whine, when you win, they whine, can nobody just get along an pew pew?
If you don't want to make an effort in the game, then don't play, the game mechanics are fairly balanced.

Yes, and when the Itani CTC comes around, they have to pass ALL of the ships. Well done on failing on trolling.
I am [Itan] and I kill anyone tampering with any CTC. This includes CBSM and I do not personally enlist anyone to do my dirty work for me. So bite my ass and come find me :)

Calcium, think more. A smurf wants to preserve the lives of other smurfs. So they hire a UIT to do their dirty work, thereby getting UIT and Serco to kill eachother while Smurfs sit back and munch on their houses. Seems like a pretty nationalistic thing to do, IMO.
And this is why I no longer class myself as a Serco.
Fuckin' whining bitches.
I used to go 1 v 10 in CTC, me v's the Itani nation, and even if I didn't win for a week, I made them blue work so hard, that sometimes they just gave up. A blockade of bots? Fuck off.
Forget the Serco CTC voy, go kill the Itani one. The weekend transports will generally make it past the blockade, and these are the ones that carry most the xith. The ones that run during the week only carry between 6-12 CU of ore, the ones that run late on a Saturday carry up to 30ish CU, and there is more than one transport too. If you learn how CTC works, you will see that a dedicated player on either side can make a big difference.
Not fair? No, you just suck at it.
