*** Vendetta 1.8.188
- The Trident Type M, player-constructable capship, now includes an
integrated 2000-meter Heavy Storm Radar Extender (the feature is
present on all existing and future vessels).
- The Trident Type M also now features a 2000-meter Shared Group Radar
Extender, allowing the sharing of radar data with those in a group
with the capship.
- PC versions now feature the updated graphical startup and loading
screens used on the Android build.
- "Delete Key" button added the key info interface, allowing removal
of keys used for station and capship ownership. Read the Help menu
in PDA->Inventory->Keychains for more information.

Note: the capship improvements were derived from this thread. I am still reading suggestions :).

I like the loading screen - fancy. Thanks for the "low-hanging fruit" updates. Much appreciated.

sweet, content! nothing big, but all things considered it's very much appreciated.

FYI: to anyone concerned. The new startup splashes do not significantly change startup time, which is why the loading graph is usually pretty far along by the time you actually see it. Things are loading in the background.

Could you make the intro honour the clients music off setting? OK, it's not on for that long, but when preload resources is turned on, it's on long enough to loop the soundbyte 3 times.

Funny, I was just emailing Ray about the same issue. Yes, we'll fix that. He thought we already had fixed it previously on Android, but perhaps now the problem is back on PC.

Rock on! Thanks for tossing us a bone. :)

Was the storm radar also added to the NPC ships or just the Type M for now?

Just the Type M.

nice update :}

Woot! You updated the loading screen, my gameplay is so much better! AWESOME! You updated the Trident, I'm so glad Conflict Diamond now has a longer radar range in a storm! My enjoyment of this game continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and it's all due to these fantastic updates!

Oh STFU Impavid, you don't even play anymore.

The key deletion thing is kind of a big deal since it makes managing station keys a heck of a lot easier and opens the possibility for sale of station access. I figure a pirate would enjoy that...

Hey, it is no legend, they are back! And read the Forums!.... ;)

Cool update, what about a challenge week to release another two, with more cookies for regular users? Contraband? Pirate Station in a Megaship for "factionX" ? ( ...dreaming...hopefull...)

Re release this update and instead of please type the description of the key just delete the damn thing.

I am not typing out Some random guy's key for some system some sector 100 times nor am I renaming all the defunct keys to shorter forms. I'm not sure how you managed to turn key deletion into a grind as well but it is.

the only time you should make someone confirm is if the key is active

However I would like to end positive and state I do prefer the new loader

Might want to double-check the code on this one, guys. I've now got an owner key that doesn't have IFF rights but still has docking rights even though the checkboxes are greyed out because owner keys always have IFF and docking.

A support ticket has been filed with more info.

thats not a new bug abort, I've had that happen to me several times. Usually its when someone conquers a station and activates the wrong key (i.e. a user key instead of an owner key).
Sep 13, 2011 abortretryfail link
Well, this one was a new key from the night prior and it was working fine until I gave a user key to Niki.

I put in a support ticket and Ray was able to get a look at it and he said he figured out what was wrong. Sometimes when you're trying to troubleshoot something weird, getting to see it in action can give you the extra details you need to figure out how things are broken.

Did you bug report it when it happened?

err.. oops?
Sep 14, 2011 abortretryfail link
Yeah, protip: don't give keys to Niki unless you want shit to break in new and amazing ways!
