Netbook defaults feedback.
For anyone out there with GMA950 or GMA500 based Atom netbooks, could you give a try at renaming/moving your config.ini/wgaf.cfg files, and see how the new defaults work for you? Probably also disable plugins and stuff, just get an idea of how it would work for a baseline newbie.
Be sure you have the very latest drivers from Intel and such. But then we'd appreciate it if you'd let us know how it works.
It's peachy on my Pine Trail Atom N450 / GMA3150, but we don't have 500/950 test hardware. Thanks.

I just tried it on my netbook with the GMA500, and the defaults seem much better. If you want to compare the settings, let me know and I'll attach everything to you in a email.
Did it start up with the station no longer in the background of menus? It does that on mine, but we had a report from a GMA950 user that it still use the station-in-background for them.
Yes, no station in the background here either.
I haven't seen many issues on my GMA 950-running OSX 10.5.8 (vanilla Leopard.) From what I've seen, and heard, it could be due to older software, because I'm noticing weird bumps on my 10.3.9 VO's BG.
Not sure whats up with that.

Spidey: it should be faster than it was before. I assume you renamed the files and let it re-generate defaults. There should be no station in the background anymore?
