I can try to install from scratch (instead of by patch) to see if that fixes the problem.

So I downloaded a new client and it didn't have the problem. I tried using the config.ini from my original install with the new one, and it happened, so it's somewhere in the config.ini. I haven't narrowed it down more yet.
Same experience as slime. New client, no problem.

I took the mission at Dau K-10 (TPG) but it was my UIT standing that took the heavy hit when I failed the first try. I was successful the second time (funny how knowing what to expect makes all the difference) but it looks like it was my local (i.e., TPG) standing which was credited (netting me zero since I am PoS with TPG) so I finished the mission string with -40 UIT.
