Can someone please update the "PLEASE READ PRIOR TO POSTING A SUGGESTION" I'm sure there have been many other suggestions since then.

I was considering deleting it. The list is not intended to be an exhaustive compendium of every suggestion ever made, just the ones that are made over and over (and over) again and have already been responded to at length.

I'll add a few things though.

Unlock it to let others post things, if it's not simple and if its off topic, delete the reply.

Updated, slightly. If people check the list before posting, and then do a search, I think we can keep the threads clear for fresh ideas. Guild wants those suggestions.

I think it's best that the list stays locked. I've read the forums a few times a day for the past few years and have a pretty good idea of what a dead horse looks like. I'd like to keep it a nice simple list. Users have the entirety of the rest of the forum to post in.

If you like, you can "nominate" something for the list if you think it's another case of beating a dead horse and I'll consider it. Just post in the offending thread, but please do be polite about it: "I think this might be a candidate for 'the list'."

ah i guess you're right, there arent any new ideas that are good that dont fit into any of those already in there.

how about we unlock the "please read before posting a suggestion" thread so that we can flag additions?

this way, moderator could add marked entries and delete the added post.

I've added some of the links suggested, and I have unlocked the "READ THIS FIRST" thread as an experiement.

We need to be able to make that thread RED or add something so that only a blind person would miss it. Maybe a <blink> tag. Hehe.
