This has been added into the game (Capship-only weapon). But not in a Capital-dock station as of yet.
I'd suggest this uber weapon have a higher badge requirement. Anyone can land a single shot on a levi and get their first kill. Making access difficult would also open up a black market for it.

I agree with wash, only a handful of players have 200 Leviathan kills in the entire game, what use would that be when the players that do have this damned achievement rarely come on. The weapon will just collect dust in the station.
Leviathan Hunter II seems more in-tune, IMO (5 levi kills if memory serves).
Heh, lighten up Wash. This was a back-burner addition I was trying to bolt onto a normal 14-hour workday where.. again.. we didn't get the intended release out at all. I didn't have time to look up how many players have Levi III, I just took Greenie's advice at face value.

Thanks for the fast response. I have Levi Hunter II, but i am unable to purchased this item from I8. The game still says "Completing a Certain Mission Tree Required". My question: is there a special mission tree required?

I set it properly to require 5, the way Ray said it should work. It could be that it's broken, or he overlooked something. If so, sorry, that's what happens when you try to release something new in between doing other things :).

Yes, Levi hunter 3 is 50 kills. Not as difficult to obtain as UC's. Nevertheless, 5 Levi kills is better than 1. The point was that restricting access to special things to a *reasonable degree* is better for gameplay (to an unreasonable degree is obviously not better).
And I agree, it also bears taking into consideration how useful the weapon will be. Dropping shields has never been the primary problem in capturing/destroying capships after all.

With capswarms dealing 24k damage total now Goliath and Trident shields are no longer a problem. Put 2 of em on a goli and it can deshield both.
EDIT: Oops didnt notice it shoots 6 now. So 18k dmg then.
