Before the LTS benefit, there were 3 stations where you could obtain the greyhound. All of them were in Odia.
The new LTS benefit now makes them available from Bractus, Odia, and Sedina. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but it reduces the travel time to acquire this very effective top tier ship.
I propose we remove the Greyhound from Sedina and Bractus. This will make it slightly more difficult to hop into the best-in-class interceptor. This also restores unique purpose to visiting he Odia system which was lost when LTS was implemented.

+1... even limit it to Odia m14 to increase players homed/traveling there. All honorable traders home at Odia M14 anyhow ;)

The fuck is lst
Long term subscriber programme. You know, it is when you pay for the game and play it. For longer than one month.
Honestly, I think they should just make them significantly more expensive outside of Odia. The camo edition used to be like 170k.
+1 to OP.
-1
(why should camo ed be more expensive than std hound - it is only a badge for LTS)?

+1 to limiting availability to Odia
Making that ship a LTS toy was one of the Devs' dumber moves in recent memory. If they won't fix that 'lost points for drooling on the paper' decision, limiting its availability to Odia M-14 would be a fractional step in the right direction.

For the same reason a cell phone charger costs more at a truck stop on the highway. Location, location, location...

That wasn't my point - the only thing different about the camo is it's name (isn't it?) ....ie a badge of honour for LTS
Is the OP really arguing that an extra system from Bractus to Odia is an issue??

Catman what the hell are you talking about?
Quite simple I thought - is or is not the camo edition any better than a standard greyhound?
As to the OP...is it really any harder having to travel to Odia for a hound compared to Bractus or Sedina??

Yes, it does have a real impact on grey space travel.
In the old availability, a player had to venture into the heart of grey space to acquire this ship, and it was slightly less efficient to seed them throughout grey at various stations. Under the new system, it's fewer wormhole jumps to stockpile them throughout UIT and grey. The end result is more availability, less combat, and being able to have a greyhound at a moment's notice for station battles. A greyhound is now at most 1 wormhole jump from any CS.
VO should require planning for resource availability across the map. If you want Valks in Sedina, you should have to fly them from Jallik. If you want Proms in Edras, you should have to fly them from Initros. If you want Greyhounds throughout grey, you should at least have to travel to Odia.

No it's not

Yes it is, it makes a huge difference in choice of ships when you're homed in Sedina.
That wormhole is 10,000m of bitchiness travel.

I have SO MANY proms in edras (I think 500 at last count? Maybe that's between bractus and edras together). But I can't say its been worth having them there, it shows more how boring it can be that I moved hundreds of proms that whole route encountering basically nothing. Plus the future of all that stuff is capship transport so moving hounds from odia to latos isn't going to be so hard even with the 30,000 distance to m7. It's worth it if you can move like 3 at a time.
nobody stores ships in m7 you moron.... except maybe you
It's a good place to home and have ships for attacking i8 because you can spawn exit and warp really quickly and I rarely die anyway so I don't use many ships
