With valent and axia being rivals, it makes sense to have a valent weapon alternative. We already have a prototype weapon, the Valent Accelerator, but the stats are subpar to the mk3 neut. Mk3, while not bad...is a commodity item, so the faction specific variants should be superior.
I propose:
A) Make it available for purchase at a high reputation requirement. Completion of "Alternate Avenue of Inquiry" and "Party Reparations." missions could be a requirement.
B) Increase speed to 210.
C) Keep all other stats the same.

I forget the other stats, but if this does happen it should be an orange coloured blaster
+1...
It's actually quite possible to make a PCC manufacturing mission for this.
We dont want it with a pcc mission though, and those missions wont fix the stats
Sorry, what I meant was the manufacturing mission could be tied with the missions Savet said.
+1, but I feel you shouldn't need a mission tree to access it, just be admired valent.
+1 @ TRS (infact anything other then blue or green)
This weapon exists according to the wiki, and is probably green.
It's green.
It's a neutron blaster.
You can already get (only) one per character by doing some newbie mission tree. Odds are you already got one and lost it a long time ago.

Yep, so let's fix it
I got 2 :P

The Valent Accelerator, in it's current state, fills an important niche.
The Valent Accelerator, is a zero level weapon, meaning that any character of any level can use it. In this regard there are only a limited selection of useful zero level weapons, including, but not limited to, the corvus widow maker, the law enforcement neutron, and the hive positron. Of this selection, the Valent Accelerator is one of the easiest to obtain, requiring a minimum of 7 orion cores, 7 dentect cores, 2 arty cores, and some scrap metal. You can only get one per character, but you can get it single handedly, very early in character development.
If you make it so it can be purchased outright, it would need a realistic level requirement. This would negate it's usefulness as the mission reward that it is currently being used as.
I would support some form of manufacturing mission, similar to the corvus widow maker, but I would not like to break it's current niche position.

@DE
I don't know if you've been eating paint, or just been playing a different game, but either way something is wrong. It is also a horrible weapon, compared to any other weapon.
You could make the same argument for LENBS, they are far better, and all you have to do is kill a station guard. You don't even need to go to trouble! And you can get more than ONE. I'd say that overpowers your supposed "niche".

Make a new character, and single handedly get a Valent Accelerator as fast as you can. What level are you? How much in game time have you spent?
Make a new character, and single handedly go kill station guards until a lenb drops. What level are you? How many times have you died? What is your faction standing? Are you still an idiot?
LENB are far better for vets. Valent Accelerator are far better for noobs. When was the last time you where a noob? try it.

Doesn't it take several missions to take a Valent Accelerator, whereas a LENB takes, what, 3 dead guards?
It does take multiple missions to produce a Valent Accelerator. missions that require you to farm collectors. Something a level one character can do with level one equipment, within the capital system, and in the case of arty cores, within close proximity of the capital system.
farm some laws with level one equipment. I dare you to try.

Make a new character and leave the training sector. Fly to Odia M-14. Buy best available light ship/energy combo. Fly out, toast station guards outside the NFZ, collect LENBs without even having to dodge a SF.
So easy, even tinbot could do it.

It is completely unreasonable to expect a brand new player to kill even one station guard. The very idea is a level of stupidity beyond my ability to communicate.
The level of difficulty between obtaining a lenb and a Valent Accelerator is so completely different that I can not believe I am even having to explain it.
The Valent Accelerator is the only neutron class weapon that a new player can reasonably gain access to, unassisted, before they actually have the levels to out right buy a neutron class weapon.
The Valent Accelerator serves a unique market, that no other weapon serves anywhere near as well, and you are proposing to alter it to fit in the same market with the n2, n3, lenb, aap, hive positron, etc...
This proposal is a great idea for vets, but totally sucks for new players.
