how about "finding" as adding a new solar system to the midle of the star map wich would be accessible from each factions capitol planets or stations.
also it would hold vast ammounts of asteroids so not only holding so much resources it would be a serious tactical choke point.
for the faction owing it would have direct acces to attack somebodys capital.
