Title says it all. I (and many others) actually enjoy reading the trollings/witticisms of our more verbose offenders. I also maintain my position that as MMOs go VO has less trolls, and far more entertaining ones than any other MMO out there.

They are as much a part of VO as combat and mining AFK. The forums will be a nicer, but infinitely more boring place with out them.

Not that I would ever troll myself, but I do think there should be a place for trolling. I do not think general or suggestions is a good place for trolling (at least not as an opening post). Perhaps Whistler could simply move trolls to RP where they belong.

For the record, and to make this post relevant to the op, I'm for a moderate form of moderation. I don't find the personal attacks amusing, I do however, get some good laughs out of when someone rips apart the substance of an idiotic post.

I enjoy a lot of the trolling posts. But I firmly believe that trolling should be kept out of Suggestions and Bugs (seriously? trolling the Bugs forum?). We have a hard enough time communicating between the various factions as it is, and the trolling causes discussions that need to take place to dissolve into mindless wanking.

I'm sorry but I cannot agree to this. I am not very vocal in game or on the forums because of the level of nastiness that goes on around here. Yes I know some of you get your jollies by killing low level newbies because you aren't good enough to take out the VPRs or what not. But being a prick on the forum is quite different then being one in game. I have quiet a few suggestions I have not posted yet because I know some people *cough*lecter*cough* would just say they are stupid with out refuting anything.

That sounds like your problem, straighten up, grow a pair and post your ideas. If they are good, even Lecter will acknowledge it. Until then, feel free to post a suggestion that the Devs ban Lecter and anyone else who offends you from the forums and VO itself.

Seriously, though, if you think I don't refute most idiotic/flawed suggestions, you're not reading my posts all the way through, probably because you're too butt-hurt outraged at my insensitive tone. Which is fine by me. Your inability to sack up and deal with the points I make because you have sand in your vagina is not, as RR points out, my problem. Are there some "suggestions" that are too fucking stupid to merit a substantive response? Yes. And they get what they deserve.
