what i find nice is that they have a nice green area just outside. makes for a relaxed work setting on their part of the planet.

Smittens: Google Maps is almost always off by a few hundred feet if you're looking for something that isn't a famous landmark. Hell, even if you put in the Washington Monument it points at the circular road around the monument and not the monument itself (about 50ft off), and if I look for Faneuil Hall in Boston it marks the old fishmarket, not the hall (again, 50-100ft off). I can put in the address for my house and it'll mark several houses down the road. Ask for a house a few hundred feet in the opposite direction and I *might* get my house properly marked.

you're damn lucky. when i entered my home address in google earth, it showed me a location that's about 35kms from my doorsteps.

when i changed "avenue" to "street" in my address, it got closer by about 5kms.

Actually they're on the 4th floor now, if I recall correctly.
They have a nicer view of the Milwaukee County Grounds office park. Yippee.

The view of the county grounds is actually fairly nice. They're tearing up all the land behind us, though, to make some sort of gigantor hotel.

Yeah, but out of the entire world to get that close? Fifteen years ago the closest an average person could get would be to point semi-randomly at a crappy paper map.
