No don't do this!
Dodge binds give the opponent a disadvantage.
I like easy kills.

Hehe I use no binds because I do not know how to make them, and I am apparently too lazy to learn.
I care not, but I bet you can't remove the dodge binds without removing ALL binds.

No.
Some keyboards have issues with having more than 3 keys down at the same time. Don't penalize the people who have keyboards like that.

No. There's no way to remove the ability to make dodge binds without removing too much worthwhile functionality. And in the best case scenario using a dodge bind is only moderate help, while in worst case scenario it's just about certain death, and the worst case scenario is far more likely than the best case for using a dodge bind.
people use those?
aparently?
actually, I do have a dodge bind equipped but I do not use it at all during combat with other players, I use it when I'm waiting for a collector bot to finish mining. It's the diamond strafe command which is found in the bind thread here. The bots have a hard time locking on when you sit still and use this and is perfect for what I use it for. Anyway, like Beolach said there is good reasons tohave the functionality in the game.

Why who? me? Dodge binds are just stupid.
Any one that uses a dodge bind exclusively most likely has a high death rate.

I agree with taking no steps whatsoever against dodge binds. Some people have taken the time to develop and test effective binds, so they should be able to use them. And even then, they are no match for a player with the skill to keep himself alive long enough to detect the pattern, and then strike where needed.
So, again, it's a matter of developing skills against a particular tactic rather than demand the removal of said tactic.

who me show me some statistics
The best dodge binds out there i think are the ones that have 2 or 3 patterns and the user can switch between them at will.
To kill dodge binds, all you have to do is kill movement control.
There are a few other binds that use movement control though. If you want an example, i think a 90 degree turn and turbo is effective.

i never used binds
i didnt known binds until i hear it on channel.
i thought binds = piloting (player's skill).
and todays i found that : http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Binds
really i don't known if it work well but
it 's cool to able to make a binds! i will try it later.
VO has the best "piloting gameplay" i v never seen :)
it's very cool to able to straff right,left,up,down/rotate/accelerate/decelerate/turn right, left, up, down.
hope the game will grown up...

THAT was a surprise. I saw that Nya had posted on this thread, and I was already preparing myself for another ridiculous suggestion.
Glad we agree on something for once, Nya!

Do what most people do against people wih dodge binds: A. Kill them (cuz you're awesome like that) or B. Ignore them (cuz you're awesome like that). Besides, EVERYONE knows who this thread was started about. -.-
Nya, you'll want to change that link to http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Binds
Your SessionID in the link is irrelevant and probably a security risk (although I'm damned if I know how...). Plus it make the page horizontally scroll.

honestly i don't see anything wrong with combat binds. i'd bet that anyone who complains about combat binds is either A: mad they didn't think of it, or B: mad because they have to become a decent pilot to deal with it.
simply put, anyone who can make a dodge binde can execute the same manuvers manualy if they wanted to. and yes, people cound get the code for a binde from somone else without understanding it, but this in my opinion is the bridge between traditional "virtual dice" RPGs and Vendetta.

1) Too hard to remove it without removing other things.
2) They're not useful for actual combat.
3) They are useful for preventing people from type killing you.
(for the record I wrote/posted the bind that gets used often but don't use it myself in fighting)
