The entire state of RI was infected. And don't get a mac, put linux on your current box. After all, mac software is good, but mac hardware sucks for a Price/Performance ratio. And nobody respond to my anti-mac post, because then the thread will get turned into a mac vs pc thread, of which there are alreday several here.

Yeah, I agree with Rogue. Macs are nice and all, but I'd rather use Linux on an x86 platform (no vendor tie-in). Unfortunately, I have to run Windows XP (Professional) on my ThinkPad, but my desktop/file server is running Linux. Also, even when running Windows, it takes a large amount of stupidity to get infected by a virus like this.

yes, it would. We would get a graphical presintation of which OS is dominant in the game, and OSs could battle for dominance. Fuck, that could be a selling point.

Recently, I've been using a combination of Linux (Slackware and Gentoo), and FreeBSD. As each day passes, I'm sliding towards FreeBSD. So what nation do I join then? ;)

I'm on the RI border. However, my sister and two of my uncles are employees for RI (either for the towns or directly for the state).

And I use BeOS. So where do I go? Do I really have to join the "Dead People" nation?
