Turkeys are poultry, they were raised and bred for meat. I own ducks,chickens,turkeys,quail, and a goose chickens and turkeys are some of the stupidest but interesting creatures on th planet.

If I imagine even further back, I find that I take a perverse yet satisfying pleasure in imagining myself gutting and consuming various body parts of an animal who's genetic ancestors most likely did the equivalent to my genetic ancestors. And someday, maybe the descendants of turkeys will again take special pleasure in devouring the carcass of my descendants...
