I don't remember anyone having been banned from the forums, ever. This may mean that I am less observant about such things as forum members going quiet all of a sudden with no apparent reason.

A few people have been temporarily banned or muted, which impacts both the game and the forum. It's been a few years since we've done either so far as I know. That all may change if people continue to be asshats, but I would hate to have the devs expend valuable time on coding extra stuff just to deal with behavior.

There are multiple reasons why I posted the link here. First off, I proudly consider myself to be a leading VO troll. As to showing the absurdity of Religion, while I admit to considering religion absurd, this video would be a poor demonstration to argue from as it is representative of only a minute subgroup of religious people. In fact a significant portion of the flack this video earned came from xians.

So the reason I posted this video was because I found it hilarious and absurd. I thought certain folk here might get a laugh out of it as well. And if there happened to be some super sensitive xians around that took offense, then bonus points for me.

Also, I consider it a commentary about how mindless adherence to any creed or belief system opens to the door to mind numbingly stupid beliefs and behaviors. Luckily, this one just happens to be innocent, funny and harmless. Hence the title.
