Dunno if you guys have seen this before.
Its kinda starting to freak me out

Freaky

For me it goes clock-wise, and as hard as i try to focus i cant make it go counter clock wise.

It went clockwise for me until I gazed for a few seconds at the text are just to the left of the image. Now I'm stuck on clockwise and unable to go back. I can do it for a moment if I gaze off to the right and then over to the image, but it reverts quickly.

It's probably just a tumor.

I seem to be able to make it change directions at will if I stare at and focus on it long enough. Once I can see it going in one direction I have to really try to make it appear to go in the other.

Too easy... too easy. I looked at it the first time and it went clockwise. I focused on the swing of the extended leg and caught it on the left to right movement and I could see it going anti-clockwise. I then proceeded to play with my brain to make me look at it back and forth between clockwise and anti-clockwise. I'm not joking, this was too easy, I guess playing around in AutoCAD 3D and doing descript for fun got the better of me.

Care for some descript?

I don't buy this one...

Because they screwed up the perception.

After a few minutes of watching it I finally managed to reverse it to go counter-clockwise. Now I can switch between the two by merely blinking.

IT.... WON'T.... CHANGE.

Left hemisphere of the brain is the artistic one, right? Because I can't use that half of my brain. I think it died.

This one's really gonna screw you guys up... clockwise from the top or clockwise from the bottom?

I've seen this before somewhere. At first I saw it going counter-clockwise, then after reading the text it turned clockwise on me. After a few seconds of watching it I could control it at will, if you're having trouble doing so try focusing on the shadow under the dancer for a few seconds and it might switch directions ;)

PS. Anyone else feel like they can slowdown/speedup the dancer with their mind? Or am I just high again =9

Whistler, what the heck?

Do you have different definitions of clockwise for each hemisphere of your brain? o.O

And drazed, you can slow it down or speed it up with your mind; illud est, you can move the window with your mind. If the advertisements are shown, it'll slow down the framerate of the dancer.

umm, they have a word for clockwise from the bottom... it's called counter-clockwise.

I could make it change by closing and reopening my eyes. Normally it goes clockwise for me. But I was able to make it to anti clockwise and then clockwise and then anti again. But closing my eyes and visioning it going the other way stopped working and it is stuck on clockwise.

[edit] I can change it at will by focusing on the words "clockwise" and "anticlockwise" at the top left hand side of the page in the article. I look at them and say one outloud and look back at the dancer and it moves in the direction said.

Tip; make yourself have a headache at the front left or front right parts of your brain. Behind your eyes.

Found out a good way to make it change direction. Use the shadow of her outstreched foot. It appears once every 180 degrees the dancer turns. Now, depending on which way the dancer moves, that shadow can be seen in front of the dancer, closer to you, if she rotates clockwise, or behind her, further from you if she rotates counter-clockwise. So just look at that shadow and imagine it in the position you want it, forward or back, and the dancer will change directions. Hope thats an understandable explanation.

try making her bounce back and forth on the front 180 degrees only

did you manage to make that work??

if so you're a genius or something

Yeah I could get it to do that. Not really on purpose though.
