Serco team lead by BigNasty and his group of ruffians, ONE, took charge this NW dominating the Itani and UIT teams, losing only two members of their team, Tupix and Raktar. Thank you to most of the participants of this week's Nation War!

I unfortunately cannot host NW the following weeks, but look forward to an event hosted by TRI!
Basic Rules:
-Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate (Very bendable).
-You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15ish minute period prior to the planned starting time.
-No tridents (Since nobody seems to want to bring them anyway).
-You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in an EC-88 or EC-89.
-No running from the asteroid field.
-The last team standing wins
-Prize is only distributed to those on the winning team who survive
-Have fun!

Unfortunately this NW was invalidated due to the failure of the host to complete payments to all the winners.
Further, Mistena will be barred from hosting future NW's that are absent obstruction from unforseen forces.
A nationwar host historically makes the rules, but also historically follows them. In this case, Mistena made up a rule after NW had concluded that applied to an event that occurred after NW had ended, and then denied payment of winnings to a valid participating winner. NW hosts hold no jurisdiction over non-NW events, and as such her actions were out of line. Her lack of apology or attempt to make things right is indicative that she no longer reserves the right to be treated with honor and respect as a Nation War host.
As a result of these deplorable, game-hurting actions, it is recommended generally to abstain from donating money and/or participating in any future NW that Mistena might host, as the likelihood you will be at risk of being subject to similar harm is very high.
It is quite sad to see NW, with it's long history of neutrality on the part of the host, be tainted with such dishonest and despicable behavior.

Umm she gave the money to bignasty who was planning on giving it to you, and you just go on and assume you are not getting a credit of that 10 mil for barely hitting anyone. Anyway you shoot the guy who was paying players accordingly and now you wonder why you don't get paid.

See above, 'ore. There was no usportsmanslike conduct that took place during NW. Her withholding of winnings from me is dishonorable and disqualifies the event.
Tripod it was not specified in her rules that she would be leaving payment to team members up to the team leaders. This is part of her making up rules AFTER the fact, is dishonorable, and disqualifies the event. I wouldn't for a day in my life have trusted BigNasty to pay me, and had I known that was the case I wouldn't have participated.

Seems you tried to ruin the event and profit from it. It was Misty's event. It's her responsibility to deal with grievances that may arise. You got slapped by the long dick of justice. Deal with it Wally.

Sieger left himself an exit in case he didn't win. The main rule to nation war is to stay until the end. He probably shouldn't have even started if he didn't have the time. The right thing to do is accepted his Serco fate but instead he chose to wave good bye and leave the sector.
I've never been a fan of paying the prize to leader of the winning team and letting them divvy it up, but this is certainly not the first time it has been done that way.
Also, Nation War is not technically over until after you have been paid; the competition is over, but being paid the prize is still a part of the event, not something that happens outside of it. Therefor, dicking around prior to everybody being paid is obviously a bad idea. Your failure to realize this does not mean it was not obvious; it just means you're dumb. Until you know that all pay has been disbursed, you should not fight any of the other winners or the host, since this will likely disrupt the payment process even if the host is paying people individually. Duh.
Note as well that if you're wanting people to take you seriously, you're doing it wrong. Making an overblown post where you try to act like you're some kind of authority figure just makes you look silly. You also failed to specify what you were actually complaining about -- you only made vague indications that something had gone wrong during the payment process. That made you seem very suspicious right away, even before I found out what actually happened. You'd have given a better impression by being humble and upfront. Another error you made was by trying to be picky about the rules while completely ignoring the fact that the rules do not say anything at all about how the winners get paid.

I left at the beginning of the last war for the reasons I stated in that thread. By all means change the status of my outcome in the previous thread to (DNF).
Just to help sum up some of the vagueness going on here, let me clarify what I have witnessed and correct me if I'm wrong:
Avatoros is Greenwall. Having only 1 other Itani there, he switched to a Serco alt. A completely legal, if not slightly cowardly strategy.
The other Serco know it's greenwall, and note that we should all watch out for a betrayal during the battle.
Avatoros group targets an EDIT and then doesn't take any damage the whole battle.
When the sercos have won, all in the red and orange except one that's all green, Avatoros then decides to kill our group leader while we are all trying to get payment.
The Serco had agreed to let you on and treat you as one of our own UNLESS YOU SHOT ONE OF US like we all thought you would. And you did. If you had just sat on your hands for 5 more minutes, you would have been paid, and we would have all gone back to blasting each other.
You choose to bite the hand that feeds, and now act hurt that it reached down and gave you a little swat.
Sieger, who may have been totally honest about having to go, as he said repeatedly he might have to, also has a history of running when he's about to loose one of his limited number of Valks he has on his UIT character. We can't know the real reason why he left. The fact that he chose to leave when he did and on the smoking flame spewing valk he was flying, however, raises a few eyebrows.

The hand that fed was supposed to be Mistena, but she chose to pay leaders without making it known that was her intention. Standard NW payment protocol has always been direct payments from the host to each winning player. It is done this way for exactly situations like this, to ensure enemies who fight fairly on the same team get what they are owed and to prevent RP differences between those on the same team from disrupting the neutrality of NW. For all I know she chose to pay the leaders AFTER Avataros had shot bignasty because she felt like being a bitch.
Either way, Avataros killed BigNasty after NW had concluded. There is no disputing it. There is also no disputing Avataros was flying around shooting others and NOT interfering or subverting the serco team in any way. Not taking damage is by no means a condition for withholding winnings -- people conclude NWs all the time with no damage. In this case the serco team was so OP that I'm surprised other serco members weren't able to stave off damage.
