Lol, I said the same thing when I was a dedicated Serco nationalist. In the morning I used to blast up CtC convoys and deliver the cargo, in the evening I got blasted up by SKV when I tried. This is true, and there are practically no or very few nationalists from Serco doing Deneb, I gave up all that after leaving RED, now that I am back, we will fight.

CtC is quite boring, just kill the voys and dump the cargo in an ion storm :p
As for deneb, ill do a couple of small skirms. Medium and large ones are too laggy :(
Besides, when a blockade shows up at either sides, it usually gets blown up as soon as someone with a trident + avalons shows up. Id rather spend my time in Greyspace. I mean, would you rather have live pvp or shoot bots in deneb?
I agree to the fact that if everyone participated, even slightly, in deneb/CtC, we would win more often.

Your lag is actually worse than mine.
lol
@Piment,
"We barely win the Capture the Cargo weekly event..."
Is that why i keep meeting General Jack O'Neill's XC in latos?
I'm sorry to inform you that's the wrong ship in the wrong side of the verse... IF you are trying to win CtC.
Less forum more action!

@Moe Lester
That's probably because I'm building a Trident Type M?

That's probably because I'm building a Trident Type M while i'm asking my "Fellow Serco nationalists" to do my part of the "Nationalist thing"?
#FTFY

I dedicate this to all Serco who are, like Piment, strong with the force of "the feathery winged entity with webbed feet that goes quack".
To be listened to in-game with the sound of neutron blasters hitting your hull:
you be dying and the music keeps on playin'
Meanwhile, in SKV headquarters at undisclosed location there's a party going' on .

What is a nationalist?
Easy: someone who butchers the insipid cowards who currently call themselves the Serco military, but who are in truth nothing more than Itani curs with fancy implants.
Bitter about the whole [SCAR]/trial thing? Nope, not me :P

@Bojan Ultra Ghost Attack Team baby! Glad someone out there has the same music tastes I do. Won't find many Americans who appreciate songs like Red Alert. I'm going to be listening to that for the next week.

I suppose I can understand why you'd feel that way given your involvement in that, but personally I miss the days when we actually did honest-to-gnu roleplaying. Remember the Neural Spike? Mogul Velaio? Lexicon? Good times.
My advice to anyone trying to fan the flames of nationalism is: don't limit yourself to the features the devs have provided, like CtC or Deneb. Invent something to fight over and people will feel personally invested, no matter how ridiculous or contrived the matter may be.

The bitter comment was itself RP - Lecter's annoyance with the Dominion is pretty clearly laid out in the conclusion of Firestorm. Those were good times vis-a-vis VO involvement; I'm not sure I can muster that much time or interest anymore myself, but it'd be cool if someone did for a change.

Ah the Neural Spike, best pirating fun I ever had!

This is fun, but it almost always degrades into the trash-talk and flame warring that we see here on the forums.
Trouble is, when people refuse to play the dev-provided nationalist content and instead invent their own, they tend to invent their own with undefined victory conditions.

I find it amusing that this thread pops up now from someone in my own guild no less. Itani nationalism is at an all time low, while Serco nationalism is thriving. We're so bored we shoot ourselves.
What happened to smurf nationalism? Let's talk about the little blue people. ARF please comment.

And the whistle is blown, and from a Serco Nationalists even. I agree, RP is dying. Due to boredom, lack of challenge, timezones, etc. I have been through old RP threads and I am sad that the RP aspect of this game has diminished into flame wars and peanut galleries. Roleplay vendettas have turned into personal vendettas. Huge battles and elaborate RP stories have turned into insults on 100 and useless witchunts on the forums. It's a shame.I suggest everyone go back a year or 2 in the RP forums, maybe the nostalgia will bring back that RP spark.
Never mind, piment deleted his post where he points out EP killing Serco CtC and ONE killing Serco noobs they should be protecting
Role playing is easily diluted by alts. RP has been dead for years.
As far as I'm aware, I only kill the Serco CTC when ive left my Trident in B-8 and the escorts go all gung-ho on its ass.
CTC would probably get a resurgence if the devs would do something like let UIT players snatch it and sell at the UIT mining station in Dau.
