Scout Report: SKV on TGFT Aggression
Foreword: presumably, SKV declared war on TGFT for placing one of their pilots on our KOS list. As a peaceful guild interested primarily in trading, our KOS list is maintained to warn fellow guild members of pilots that have demonstrated unprovoked aggression. It has since been predesignated as a Known Hostile List, reflecting our primary interest in delivering goods to market.

My first contact with SKV occurred in UIT nation space after my trading vessel was abruptly destroyed by an SKV pilot. Fair game given their declaration of war.
Several more of these hostile encounters, along with other events prompted me to leave TGFT so that I could trade unmolested. I was able to do so until while visiting a conquer able station I witnessed an SKV pilot probing TGFT defenses on public channel 444. For this mistake I was labeled a TGFT spy and became a target.
I could argue SKV's perverse definition of spy, criminal, or other mischaracterizations they frequently perpetuate. I could argue their devious tactics and methods: attacking in NO Fire Zones, suiciding into mines laid in direct response to SKV aggression. I will not. That is their game and as heinous and nefarious as it might be-I respect it. Begrudgingly.
What I cannot abide is their masquerading as Itanis. They are most decidedly not Itani-like; in fact they have more in common with the genocidal Sercos of days gone by. My proof is as follows:
Elion the Abbot of Eo flew out to meet thirty Serco Nighthawks in a lone transport to negotiate the release of peaceful Itani explorers.
He told them: "We are a peaceful folk, and desire only to communicate and share with other cultures to the benefit of all".
The Serco eventually destroyed his unarmed vessel and reignited the age old feud. This is the nature of SKV.

In response to elevated threat level in UIT nation space presented by SKV, I undertook a trade mission through Itani and Serco space. Starting in Edras I jumped from sector to sector reaping handsome profits. As always the skies of Itani are a beautiful sight and the people's of Eo are the wisest to be found in the verse. Along the way I reaped remarkably handsome profits without any molestation by SKV pilots. Of note is the lack of hostilities in Deneb. For a nationalist guild with a vendetta burned into their psyche by Serco genocide upon them, I find it curious not one of their members was present in Deneb.
My profit margin in Serco decreased noticeably, but still generated enough profits for me to attain my goal. Not till I jumped into Ukari did I encounter a hostile contact. An SKV pilot accosted my vessel into UIT monitored space. Regrettably I lost that load and its revenue, still a mere fraction of the credits my mission reaped. It appears to me SKV judges their success by player kill(PK) counts rather than inhibiting the ability of their targets to function.
To that end I assaulted the station in Latos I8 and together with my guild mates successfully diverted their available assets from the main effort of the Pelatus station. The assault cost me a not insignificant sum, but barely scratched the nest egg from my trade mission. Perhaps they believe their continued moles ratios will persuade my fellow guild mates to resign? To that notion I respond: I'll die a thousand deaths and still paint my ship the dark green of TGFT.

Didn't expect to be able to trade again in Itani space unmolested, but again I reaped handsome profits. Made it all the way to Metana G-14 and found an SKV pilot loitering in the nether regions of the void. He must have been attending to other duties because I was able to egress back towards UIT without pursuit. Coordinated an assault on their station in Bractus M14 with other guild mates. Began with several mine laying passes and when no defenders appeared launched a strike. On the second bombing sortie I experienced technical difficulties and was forced to abandon the mission.
Later on that evening while monitoring channel 100 I picked up chatter indicating combat action in Deneb. SKV pilots were directly challenged so I moved to assault Bractus M14 again. 15 minutes into the strike An SKV pilot arrived and made contact. At this point it appears that the same pilot defending was also engaged in Deneb. The call sign of the two pilots were different but their mannerisms were identical. This same pilot boasted on channel 100 of piloting 14 seperate crafts with player kills. My only conclusion is that SKV pilots are using Serco genetic implant technology allowing them to pilot crafts remotely. As if to confirm this suspicion, another SKV craft displaying the same traits as the first two interrupted my movement away from the target area. I am now quite certain that while SKV claim to be Itani, they are anything but.
On the bright side, SKV is hiring BOAT & CBSM pilots to prosecute their war. While SKVs resources are undoubtedly substantial, this fact indicates they have engaged themselves beyond a sustainable tempo. Time is on our side my guild mates.

During a successful assault on the SKV station at Bractus M14, a lone SKV pilot was coordinating a counter attack with two Serco pilots from the pirate guild "@X" and a UIT FAMY pilot. This fact calls into question the validity of SKVs charter, given their earlier withdrawal from Deneb engagement. Can an Itani claim to be a nationalist when they fight side by side with two Serco pilots and actively encourage them on channel 100? I think not.
The real hero today is the single TGFT pilot that assisted me in taking the station. Due to environmental considerations and platform limitations, I withdrew before the counter attack began. This pilot however remained for ninety minutes and held off at least four attackers, scoring 18 kills. After the last turret was destroyed and a Trident was brought into the field, he was forced to withdraw. His actions are in the highest traditions of The Guild of Free Traders and will be entered into the guilds minutes. Our molesters paid dearly today guildmates! Hold your head high and wave those dark green banners. One day free access to the three stations will be restored when the handful of SKV pilots realize the futility of their aggression.

Been laying low the last couple of days, seems the rattling of the Hornets nest has had its desired effect. I've primarily occupied myself with professional development, refining the various skills a pilot in this verse should master. In particular, increasing all possible faction standings to admire. This serves three distinct functions: increases your profit margins as a trader, makes available better equipment and ships, but most importantly makes molesters like SKV pay a price for killing us in nation space. True, some don't care and carry ready stockpiles to repair standing loss. But with our growing numbers it is imperative to hinder their combat operations in whatever manner we are able. So for yourself and your guild mates, increase those faction standings!
On that same note, SKV's tactic of a single pilot using multiple interfaces to score these kills undermines the effectiveness of that tactic. To that end I will be conducting reconnaissance in force to catalog and build a case to present to the UIT Faction Standing committee. My uncle is chairman on that body and I feel that it has merit enough to be introduced to the floor for a binding resolution. The only difficulty being the Senates reluctance to disrupt the revenue received from those who engage in these tactics.
Two final notes: player kills that occur in NFZ's will not result in a faction standing loss, so don't conside the NFZ a sanctuary. Secondly, my sources report a senior SKV lieutenant is on leave for six days and will have limited capacity to engage TGFT. Judge for yourself, but I believe now is a perfect opportunity for increased trading or even a new offensive. Fly safe guild mates and watch out for Moe Lester!

At 0515 CTZ 20150805 I crossed the line of departure and jumped for an assault on the Bractus M4 station. Fully excepting a barrage of fire, I vectored in on my target and turbo'do to close range. When no homing missiles or phaser blasts appeared I quickly realized the station was under TGFT domain. Checking my available keys, I found all three stations had been taken the previous evening! What a wonderful surprise. So despite SKVs ready defense of all three stations the previous evening, they were still unable to defend the static assets they prize so dearly.
Another note of promise, I was able to confirm that despite the denials of the SKV molestors, they do indeed concern themselves with faction standings before opening fire. While egressing from a probe of Bractus M14, an SKV pilot gave chase. I detoured to Pelatus O15(Ineubis) and turbo'do into the NFZ. At that time I heard the alarm of a homing missile. Mindful of my advice about NFZs, I reversed course a came to a halt well clear of the NFZ. The SKV pilot halted 500 meters from me, but no direct fire. Lesson learned: get those faction standings to admire.
During my early morning assault I was alerted the Latos I8 station was under attack. Due to environmental considerations I was unable to confirm the attackers call sign. Instead I prepositioned vital components necessary to continue with my harassment of SKV.
Finally, I have learned that SKV has hired at least one CBSM pilot to target me personally. Before I thought it was a general TGFT wide bounty, but the sector where initial contact was made had another TGFT pilot who was able to transit unmolested. They are either unable to find pilots willing to prosecute their war, or unable to fund a general bounty.
Be well guildmates and profit large. Time, and with it victory, are on our side.

Their actual numbers are four to five pilots maximizing their presence because of minimal or neglected environmental concerns. While they are skilled and professional pvp'ers, they neglect the strategic aspects of warfare. Their reliable defense of capital assets minimizes their abilities to harass and/or limit the delivery of goods to market. They have little to no assistance in combat operations outside their own ranks. Our ranks however are increasing and we have gained the valuable assistance of one notable free agent. Given these facts, as long as our guildmates practice the techniques, tactics, and procedures published in the member section of the TGFT forum, we can expect an eventual no-condition NAP from SKV.

In the early 21st century Earth, the foremost military power voided a decade old ceasefire and invaded and subsequently occupied a third world nation. Their casus belli: "We know where they [WMD's] are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat." No significant stockpile was ever found and that region of the world was plunged into chaos for the decades to come.
Given that SKV's casus belli against TGFT is muddied with rhetoric and mischaracterizations, I urge the people of Itani to be skeptical before following their advice. The Guild of Free Traders only identifies someone as hostile (KOS) if they first demonstrate hostility or aggression against one of our members.
Point of fact: TGFT does not maintain a KOS list, but rather a Potentially Hostile List(PHL). Meaning a list of individuals that threaten free trade and may be fired on at will or evaded according to each guild members discretion. Consider the trustworthiness of a guild which hides behind an undetermined number of aliases.
In fact, my source inside the UIT Senate reports the Itani government is considering revoking SKV's charter. There are a growing number of Itanis who feel that SKV no longer strives to "find a medium between the pacifism of the order of Eo and the genocide of the order of Akan." This plurality feels SKV has been infected by the bloodlust of Akan.
No matter what the people's of Itan decide, The Guild of Free Traders will continue to combat what amounts to a small band of brigands. As for the accusations against Greenwall of the Phoenix Alliance, we hold that all beings are presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Mare Liberum, meaning freedom of the seas. This concept is embodied in Article 3, Section A of The Guild of Free Traders charter: to promote free trade of goods and ores throughout the Galaxy. It is our prime directive and we stand prepared to defend it with military force when necessary.
SKV's continued occupation of the conquerable stations is intolerable. Our intelligence indicates they limit access to our good friends the Coalition of Itan, the pirate guild Family Galactic Travel, and select pilots who share their affinity for mayhem and destruction.
With this in mind I have initiated and completed Operation Three Jewels: the training and prepositioning of three unmanned aerospace vehicles(UAVs). They are flown under the call signs: Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. They have already conducted raids/assaults on the three stations and will continue to do so as long as hostilities persist.
A rebuttal to a lie perpetrated by SKV: these pilots do not attack "traders and Serco." To date they only have engaged in combat against pilots defending the stations during an assault-and SKV pilots at large. I would caution all to scrutinize any claim made by SKV or FAMY. They routinely practice intellectual dishonestly and often post bold-face lies.
In closing let it be known that any pilot participating in the defense or repair of the stations during an assault will be considered hostile and a target, in that context only. Even though an ITAN council member routinely commits acts of aggression on TGFT pilots, these UAVs will not extend hostilities outside the sectors of Latos I8, Bractus M14, and Pelatus C12. This condition of course does not apply to SKV as a state of war exists.

Mare Liberum, meaning freedom of the seas. This concept is embodied in Article 3, Section A of The Guild of Free Traders charter: to promote free trade of goods and ores throughout the Galaxy. It is our prime directive and we stand prepared to defend it with military force when necessary.
SKV's continued occupation of the conquerable stations is intolerable. Our intelligence indicates they limit access to our good friends the Coalition of Itan, the pirate guild Family Galactic Travel, and select pilots who share their affinity for mayhem and destruction.
With this in mind I have initiated and completed Operation Three Jewels: the training and prepositioning of three unmanned aerospace vehicles(UAVs). They are flown under the call signs: Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. They have already conducted raids/assaults on the three stations and will continue to do so as long as hostilities persist.
A rebuttal to a lie perpetrated by SKV: these pilots do not attack "traders and Serco." To date they only have engaged in combat against pilots defending the stations during an assault-and SKV pilots at large. I would caution all to scrutinize any claim made by SKV or FAMY. They routinely practice intellectual dishonestly and often post bold-face lies.
In closing let it be known that any pilot participating in the defense or repair of the stations during an assault will be considered hostile and a target, in that context only. Even though an ITAN council member routinely commits acts of aggression on TGFT pilots, these UAVs will not extend hostilities outside the sectors of Latos I8, Bractus M14, and Pelatus C12. This condition of course does not apply to SKV as a state of war exists.

Four days ago my 'Three Jewels' pilots launched Operation Rolling Thunder: a high tempo combat action to divert and impact the operational capabilities of SKV, allies, and associates. Given at many times during the operation a large number of pilots from both SKV and FAMY were occupied in defending static capital assets, I am declaring it a resounding success. Operational stockpiles for the 'Three Jewels' never fell below a 50% threshold for any one pilot and the operations declared timeline was met. SKV and FAMY will claim victory according to the number of player kills they acquired, but with unmanned aerospace vehicles that metric is hollow. One pilot, for the majority of combat action, occupied all the active pilots of an entire guild. The military definition of force multiplication. So while during Operation Rolling Thunder only one station was taken once, the enemy engaged in activities of my choosing; not theirs.
The Coalition of ITAN actively engaged in defense of the stations, at times. Curious given certain facts not cleared for public distribution. FAMY and SKV proved themselves to be skilled and professional pvp'ers; aces among aces. However they were clearly unable to adapt to the dynamics necessary for static defense and proved only marginally effective. Even more so considering the inherent advantage a defender, with heavy fire support, has over an attacker. I anticipated a higher casualty rate, as indicated by my operational reserves. Also among the defenders were members of BOAT and GTE. These guilds suspect commitment to free trade is duly noted.
My personal apologies to Trident Arms Syndicate for any disruption to their activities this Operation caused. Clearly Operation Rolling Thunder disrupted the activities of the Coalition of Itan as a senior council member of ITAN questioned one my pilots on channel 100 about it. To this I respond that The Guild of Free Traders maintains the same rights to access to the stations as they enjoy.; a benefit of being aligned with SKV. The Three Jewels pilots will continue to engage in combat action against the stations until TGFT ihas achieved permanent access to the conquerable stations.
I will be retiring to the monasteries of Eo to recuperate from four days of a high operational tempo. Remember, 'll die a thousand deaths and still paint my ship the dark green of The Guild of Free Traders.
