OK, I know why I find that funny, but I'm not sure what the original intentwas, so if someone could explain...I want to make sure I'm laughing at myself for the right reasons.

TerranAmbassador: do you even play the game? In particular, do you have any experience with Famy under Savet's rein rather than Football's? The joke should be pretty self-evident if you do, what with the periodic spam in Dau, more infrequent spam on 100, endless babble about warranties, all their corporate-ness, etc.

My sub's expired at the moment, but my experiences (and they are many) with FAMY, and Savet in particular, have generally been rather pleasant.
But assume I'm one of those people who can't see anything meaningful in a random image of a random guy's face, whose identity is unknown, whose relevance to FAMY, FAMY's activities, and FAMY's corporate, rather than mafia, behavior is unknown and not readily apparent.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you live in a more suit-happy world than I do, and therefor see the man as just another guy instead of as a suit-wearing-guy, and that that is why it isn't funny to you. You're trying to find meaning in the man's identity, but the identity is mostly irrelevant. It's the appearance that matters.
I'll spell it out as best I can: Famy is an entire guild of warranty salesman who try to maintain a tongue-in-cheek clean-cut family-friendly corporate image. The guy in the image looks like a smarmy insurance salesman, and he's spammed all over the image in a humorous manner. Like how there's Famy lurking all over the place, peeking over people's shoulders and out from around corners, all just itching to sell you a warranty.
