my term having ended on december 31st, i'm officially stepping down as commander of the coalition of [itan], in order to kick off the election.

given the current council having decided to postpone the election 2 weeks because of the holidays, the next period will end in 3 months following the poll end, thus displacing all futur elections by 2 weeks.

as such, until jan 15th, the current officers and council form an interim command structure.

thank you for having trusted me for this term. i sincerely hope i have met my obligations and responsibilities to your satisfaction and that the new officers and council will have equal, if not surpassed, success at it.

as in the previous election, you are allowed 3 votes in the officer's poll and 9 in the council poll. results are disclosed only when the period of 14 days ends.

i will not be running in this election for i will be away for a while.

I'd like to know Lecter's position on Itani security in the presence of a constant, menacing evil Serco presence. One that probably has WMD's that the inspectors haven't found yet.

My position on Itani security, regardless of the circumstances, has always been and will always be the same: Itani security should be as strong as (sub)humanly possible.

Fair elections on a 3-month rotating schedule. (That's what's happening.)

If upper case was not resigning, I'd bet he would win the CMDR election.

the resignation was necessary to make sure everyone knew i was not holding on to the position given the term had been extended, by the council, by two weeks. think of it as standard procedure.

as leebs says, [itan] has a 3 month term. so, i've actually been at the commander position for 3 months now. during that period, we only lost one council. everyone else have been there since they were elected. so that's pretty good.

Technically I'm not running but people still vote for me. I may get stuck with a council seat again, due to "bureaucratic error."

i had given the task to the council about a month ago and things weren't moving so i went ahead and included everyone in the guild, but myself.

i knew you'd get stuck with a position of some sort. i did the same thing to you on the previous term!
