ATTN: Nautargos, commander, [SCAR].
Your Guildmate, CORN NUTZ, is in need of both combat training and honor training.
I challenged CN to a duel in D-14, he accepted, and I started to close the distance between his Rag and my SCP. The flight over to engage was around 4000m; he was pointed at me and I loosed flares and AGT. Alas, he was unresponsive and perished rather quickly. This is part I of where I suggest more fundamental--dare I say basic--combat training for future [SCAR] nuggets. Allowing them to prance around the universe unprepared is an embarrassment to their guild and my nation. (1), (2)
CN and I re-engaged in B-8, after I ensured he was, in fact, awake and at the helm. As expected, he began firing off strings of chaos/locust swarms. Some were one tube at a time, most two, and once three tubes were up at once. Perhaps guild regulations on spamming are relaxed in the presence of a SCP; I understand. But still, this is 'plea for basic combat' part II: an utter lack of skill was displayed.
After I'd finished flying 400m radius circles around his rag and believed him to have exhausted the swarms, I moved in to engage him with guns. CN at this point backed off, turboed away, and warped out, cursing me.
To run from a fight is bad enough; to run from a duel with a fellow Serco because one is out of spam and afraid to rely on one's guns alone... is beyond pathetic. (3)
I am sure that the good folks at [SCAR] will deal with this breach of Guild rules appropriately, as in the past. (4)
Ta ta,
Dr. Lecter, [SCAR] Lieutenant emeritus.
P.S. This sort of thing plays right into the hands of [SKV], as you can see. For that reason, too, such behavior cannot be tolerated. Not into [ITAN]'s hands, of course. [ITAN] is already copying down CN's battle tactics to use in upgrading their own training regimen.

This is teh funneh. :)
IMHO, players with levels like these shouldnt be allowed to have swarms at all http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/stats/94889/
Whoa...
So you found a newbie who is dumb enough to duel a SCP in a rag and you let him go away. Talk about a bad day!
More to the point, who's the lackluster schmoe who gave this putz a PK?
/me sheepishly raises my hand...
I suck. What can I say.

/me points at Roda Slane and laughs heartily.
Lets face it, if a newb like this can get swarms, he shouldn't hesitate to use them against a known newb killer like Dr. Lecter. He deserves a promotion for just escaping alive.
Lecter? You where in a prom and had to fly circles to dodge swarms? A prom should just strafe dodge forward past the swarms and kill the rag. Try it sometime.
Serves you right Roda. Learn to fly something besides a spamrag and perhaps you won't be so much swarmbait.

TRS, it's a *duel*.
He's not leaving and winning. If I want to demonstrate the useless of swarms and then move in to kill him, that's my prerogative. I'm not faulting him for swarming, though I do question whether that tactic is in harmony with his obligations as a [SCAR] member.
I'm faulting him for running of during a duel. It's not like I gave chase... I got the win through his departure. It's just pathetic behavior for a [SCAR] pilot.

I fault him for having the name "CORN NUTZ".
Then fault him for accepting a duel he wasn't prepared to honor. All else is inconsequential (except for perhaps the name "CORN NUTZ").
This is where honor comes in, for me anyway. If I were to use swarms (not likely unless it's total, all-out war, never a duel) and run out of ammo during a duel? I would then just see how long I could stay alive before going pop.. The same way I do when I use rockets..
but, its been a damn long time since I've scratched my itch for twitch.

Actually, TRS, SCAR's self-anointed status as an elite Serco warrior guild makes his terrible combat skills 'consequential'.
Its internal rules banning members from "spamming" makes the manner of his missile use 'consequential'.
And of course, I clearly faulted him for running from a duel, as you suggested in your asinine post.
Perhaps you should figure out exactly what big words like "inconsequential" mean, and upon what facts their applicability turns in a given context, before slinging them around like some 1L gunner.
Anything new, douche-bag? No? STFU.

CORN NUTZ?

i wonder if he's the one who plays oilfight

Hrm, just now reading this thread.
All I can say, I didn't recruit him, but he will be dealt with accordingly. Running from fights and spamming are considered a great dishonor to the guild. And I agree lecter, what you described is pathetic. I've tried to teach the newbs to specifically avoid doing that, but I wasn't even aware of this newb in the guild. I'll check into this and apply the appropriate punishment.

I bitched CN out the other night for using swarms on me as well...Heh...guess he didn't listen...
Actually Leber, that one PK was a fellow newb, who he swarmed in a rag duel after the other newb had agreed to not use swarms in PvP. Roda's just a self-deprecating masochist.
CN was already penalized for that act, and failed to follow up on his end. He will face further disciplinary action, and if he so much as sneezes another swarm without a commanding officer's permission, he'll be expelled outright.
Thank you for your report.

You would think he would have learned his lesson...let's hope he straightens his act up...
King Swarmer Cunjo punishing someone else for swarming... The irony...
