TGFT and EnB will again be hosting The Deneb Run this weekend at 2 AM GMT Sunday. Please check /time if you are confused about GMT.

All citizens are welcome to race, there is no entrance fee, and 4 Million credits in prizes are available. Some of it could be yours!
Once again, the rules are:
1) Racers must race from Odia M14 through Deneb heading clockwise back to Odia M14.
2) Race starts in Odia M14 near the station.
3) Contestants must be within 100m of me before the start
4) No shooting before I start the race.
5) You die and you're out (so no /exploding)
6) All weapons and ships allowed, except those listed in #10.
7) First person to get back and dock at Odia M14 wins the first prize. (2 million credits)
8) Second person back gets 2nd place prize (1.2 million credits)
9) Third person back gets 3rd place prize (800k credits)
10) No Valkyries allowed.
11) If there are at least 3 racers, and less than 3 racers complete The Deneb Run, the undistributed prize money will be awarded to those who killed the racers as follows:
- The most recent kill gets the highest unawarded prize
- The 2nd most recent kill gets the second highest unawarded prize
- etc.
Example: If 1 racer finishes, the player that had the last kill of a racer will receive a 1.2 million credit prize, and the player that had the 2nd most recent kill would receive 800k credits.
I believe this is a good way of saying thanks to those who help spice things up for the racers.

Announcing the results of The Deneb Run #25, sponsored by EnB and TGFT.
The Pilots

MonkofAkan: Itani, a seasoned veteran racer, he holds the record for the most wins of The Deneb Run.
_Ghost_: Itani, council member and lieutenant of the Skygge Vakter guild, and also a seasoned veteran racer, he holds the current record for the fastest time around the galaxy, set way back The Deneb Run #2.
Krashis Merala: Serco, a veteran racer in The Deneb Run.
Miharu: Itani, this is the first time competing in The Deneb Run for the hostess of the Makchuga -- offical home of the post-Deneb Run celebrations, conveniently located in Corvus Hold.
scottsman: Itani, council member and lieutenant of the Earth and Beyond guild, he is a first time racer.
Maximian: Itani, member of The Guild of Free Traders, he is also a first time racer.
The Race

And the 25th Run to Deneb and back began with the starting signal of the MC. All of the racers opted the direct route and raced for the wormhole to Sedina. First in was MonkofAkan, followed closely by Miharu and scottsman. _Ghost_, Krashis Merala and Maximian brought up the rear. This order was not set in stone, however, as it usually was in other previous races. _Ghost_ soared ahead to take the lead with Miharu quickly following him, leaving MonkofAkan in their dust to take 3rd. scottsman had pulled ahead to take 4th, as Krashis and Maximian followed the leaders into B-8 as they were leaving that sector.
Miharu's lead suddenly collapsed, however, when she hit a storm in Latos, allowing _Ghost_ to slip into 1st and MonkofAkan into 2nd. scottsman and Krashis pulled ahead of Miharu before she finally pulled out of the storm to take 5th place heading into Ukari. MonkofAkan took the lead from _Ghost_ throughout Ukari and zoomed into Initros with him hot on his tail. Meanwhile, back in Latos, Maximian hits the storm that Miharu had hit earlier. MonkofAkan entered Initros seconds before _Ghost_ who was quickly catching up, as mharu retook her spot as 3rd.
And again, Miharu hit another storm, this time in Initros. This dropped her back to 4th as scottsman was quickly making a move for 1st place, trying to steal it from MonkofAkan as they raced through Pyronis. Heading into Dantia, MonkofAkan only had an 8 second lead over scottsman and 25 seconds over the 3rd place _Ghost_. This was still a close race. The order was thus upon entering Sol II: MonkofAkan, scottsman, _Ghost_ , Miahru, Krashis Merala and finally Maximian.
_Ghost_ puled ahead of scottsman in Geira Rutilus, as Miharu was only one second behind him. The order would change up in Deneb, however. _Ghost_ dropped back two spots as scottsman and Miharu zoomed ahead. Miharu took 2nd from scottsman in Eo, though, as _Ghost_ was closing the gap, intent on taking a placing spot. Meanwhile, back in Betheshee, Krashis Merala hit a storm, allowing Maximian to pull farther ahead in Geira Rutilus.
_Ghost pulled ahead of Miharu in Cantus. The order seemed solid throughout the rest of the race. MonkofAkan led, while _Ghost_, Miharu, scottsman, Maximian, and finally Krashis Merala followed in that order. It all changed in Edras, however. Greeted by a delegation of pirates, MonkofAkan flew in circles around the wormhole in vain. Without an infiniboosting ship, he was toast the second he tried to warp into the wormhole. Thus, he broke off and repaired as the order shifted up, pushing MonkofAkan into 3rd. By a miracle, scottsman had met a welcoming committee of his own. One hunded meters from the dock, and a sure 3rd place win, he was eliminated. Allowing MonkofAkan to slip in with 3rd place. _Ghost and Miharu took 1st and 2nd place, repsectively. Maximian took 4th and Krashis Merala rounded out the survivers in 5th.

I will not be hosting The Deneb Run next weekend, due to it being Christmas Eve. If someone else would like to host it then, please post here and then get in touch with me in game and I can provide some prize money.

Yes, there's a Deneb Run #26 on Christmas Day for anyone who shows up. I'll be running it.
Santa should enter. After all, he's got the fastest ship around, bar none.
I hear the reindeer are really bad at dodging swarms, though.
On the positive side, having Rudolf on the team means he never gets delayed by ion storms.
But that red nose of his can be seen from 5000m away, it's a dead giveaway to pirates!
Mess with Santa, and you'll find out who put the Blitz in Blitzen.
