*** Vendetta 1.8.267
- New Vulture variant is now available at the Corvus capitol.
- Players' ships now count towards the cargo of capships when they dock. If not enough cargo space is available, the player cannot dock.
- Capship owners can now give their ship a custom name. The custom name is displayed in the upper right area of the capship menu.
*Use the /renameship "New Name" command to change it. You must be piloting the ship to use the command. A GUI interface is forthcoming.
*Names are validated by the server the same way character names are.
- Fixed a bug that prevented some news posts from being viewable.
*** Vendetta 1.8.267.1
- Removed the ability to jettison cargoed ships.
- Ship Sell Price now includes the full price of ships inside the cargo hold.
- The mass of ships now include the full mass of cargoed ships and their nested cargo/addons. Passengers' ships do not affect the mass of the capship yet.
- Selling ships directly from the cargo hold of another ship no longer results in orphaned addons.
- Capship explosions are now visible when the pilot is controlling a turret and the ship explodes.
- Fixed a bug where a capship passenger gets a blank screen when they dock to a capship in space and then leave it when it is in a station.
- Valent A-3 Assault and Axia RA18 Assault bots that are created through the LAR Project mission tree should now fire all of their weapons.
- The currently active ship is no longer displayed in the Station List of the Load/Unload menu.

Holy giant screenshots, batman. Maybe you should link those instead of embedding them.
^ LOL Adam West was the best batman ever! (I don't know who payed robin)
Awesome
Burt Ward
Great shots!

This was cool, however it presented a buttload of bugs.
Looks nice but how does it fly and dogfight compared to the original?
PS: i am sure it looks better in red or black though

Pretty sure Orlando submitted a ticket, but just in case, Hive Skirmish missions are not "ending", (needing a re-log to exit the mission) and when I popped a queen during a crit skirm in Sedina, then boomed back to Odia to grab a moth, a fresh queen/skirm had spawned in the couple mins it took me to get back for looting funtimes. I call shenanigans right there!

From News:
"The new Vulture is the testbed prototype for replacing the existing asset. It is currently configured identically to a Vulture MkIV, to give people a 1:1 comparison against a widely-available, existing ship. Polite feedback on the forum is welcome."

Also, Ships docked in a TTM consuming cargo space makes them even less usefull than their previously limited usefulness, and sucks harder than the lack of shields. I'm all for being able to haul ships AS cargo, but ships docked in the INTERNAL HANGER BAY should not take up room in the cargo hold.
I plan to bitch about this incessantly until it is "fixed". I urge all current cappie captains as well as any fellow potential captains to join me in this union approved bitch action!
EDIT: After much debate with Espi and draugath, I feel I should be more specific. I oppose this nerfing without an adequate buff some other way. Currently, the ability to haul metric craptons of cargo is really the only useful ability TTM's have. If this is nerfed, they need a buff somewhere else. I suggest either enough shields to hold off a couple bots (but not a SF), or free unicorn rides in the hanger/cargo bay.

She makes a good point we did have to grind terribly to have 4 hangar bays that means 4 ships.
If this is changed to apply to ships as cargo then it's excellent.

I second, err, third Faille's bitch! This aspect of the update (ships taking up cargo space) feels like some kind of punishment for taking the time to build a Trident. How about making only unoccupied ships take up cargo space?
Couldn't agree more!
Option 2: if and when Dents and every other player controlled cappie ;) are deemed to decreased cargo hold when one or more ships are docked, then the importance of Connies will be much much more (see: We need player controlled connies too). this way dents will be placed into the role of valuable combat platform and small scale transport (400 cu with 2XC loads; or 500 cu with 1 XC and 300 goodies), but connies can haul thousand cu-s of goods together with helping "barge" captains in moths, XC-s and so on. Or even fighters who can launch in case of attacks.

We're aware of the issue with missions not ending and it will be fixed shortly.
Edit:
It has been fixed.

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that with the cargo space change, up to 600cu "worth" of ships can now dock on a TTM. Such as 6 Vultures etc. I hereby call an end to my union approved bitch action regarding the used cargo space, and re-direct it towards balancing the cu values of various ships.
Why on earth does a Marauder take 300cu? Shenanigans I say!
Faille.
Yes, I'm happy to tweak the cargo-usage-size of various ships, and other numbers, and that would probably be a good use of a Suggestions Forum post.
I do emphatically think the general concept of "shared space" and cargo-vs-docking tradeoff should remain. I chose to release this, knowing full well the numbers might need some tweaking, but that felt it was better to put the system in place now, and get some feedback from people during usage.

Ship shipping is awesome! Very much appreciated (more so than the new vult, actually).
Update, the cubic units of the respective ships have been updated per Meridian's suggestion table from the thread on Suggestions. The changes are conservative, but should improve things. Further feedback on that topic is welcome on Suggestions.
If I could say bribe some uit to dropping me Scp that's be even better but from my understanding they currently once picked up by someone else besides the owner have no engine
