Every time a dev reads a post like this, that is a 1 minute delay on the release of 3.3

DO NOT let this turn into the Escape Velocity Nova web boards, about the release date of PC-Nova, I believe ForumMod knows what I'm talking about....keep it civil...and DONT attack people that simply want to know if anyone's heard about a potential release date.

Errrright! Yes. I don't feel that anyone was actually being attacked, but I can see how you could read that in. Please folks, read the News and In Progress sections before you ask. The developers are busting it out, which is why they aren't answering posts as often as they'd like to.

I personally don't want to see 3.3 released until the valk/tri flare combo is FIXED.

fb and arolte, realistically all the devs efforts are going to be going into the back end sector programming/reprogramming, the updating of the ai system, etc before balancing flares. Then after 3.3 is released their attention will go to fixing the bugs that we work hard to find. Then the devs will balance out the weapons.

They've been good about balancing things when they're not really busy, but at the moment they're busting *** to do all the work for 3.3.

I was hoping for 3.3 to get realeased in a couple of months from now...

because if it gets realeased, then everybody would be in a race to just try to get a high level ship..

alienb1212, but it is true, it takes time to read threads like this, time is normally linear unless under certain circumstances, so they can't go back in time to redeem the time they spent reading this thread.

You are not being ignored. The devs are busting it out trying to get things done and will respond when they have:
1) time
2) a more concrete completion date.

The last thing they want to do is promise an update and then have to renege on it, or to release an update that is too bugged to be playable.
