"Capture the Cargo is the battle between Itani and Serco for Purified Xithricite Ore. This ore can be used to construct the Neutron Blaster MkIII. The competition is weekly, from Sunday to Saturday. Only the members of the nation that has the highest amount of Purified Xithricite at the end of the round are able to buy Neutron Blasters MkIII during the following week. Itani cargo transports depart from Bractus Watch (Bractus C-5) and head to Coranis Watch (Divinia M-14), the Serco transports depart from Daltas Hold (Sedina L-2) and head to Catequil Outpost (Pyronis L-6). They take direct routes between the wormholes and will get caught in storms."

We especially need Itani to help out. The serco nation and the [ONE] guild are taking an interest in ctc now. Since the bots protecting the transports usually don't travel with or protect the transports the WHOLE way its important that we have players protecting our transports. recently most of the transports have been killed in Bractus C-5 almost as soon as they leave the station.

Anyone can join. And even if you don't want or can't use the Nuet Mk iii we can't let the serco scum continue to win.

Congrats to both sides who took part last week. I hope we can give you a better fight this week :)

EDIT: I forgot to add that even new players can take part. Any ship or weapon is good. especially if you are only protecting the transport.

Jess, ctc is long overdue for a makeover.
Imho it has been a valuable VO content and it deserves a significant role in an improved VO.
There were a lot of posts in suggestions forum regarding ctc improvements in the past 4 years but they went unnoticed except once when Incarnate said that "ctc will be replaced".
Same happened to the bounty system. It was fun while it lasted and provided much needed content. Sure, some players were exploiting it for monetary gain but that was a drop in the ocean of other exploits that are still possible.
Bounties were removed and replaced with NOTHING so i presume the same will happen with CTC.
Sadly, VO has a history of destroying good content and replacing it with dubious "I think people will love this more" solutions.

bojansplash I agree with you. But just because CtC will be replaced "someday" doesn't mean that we can't play it now. I think newer less jaded players will find it fun. All i'm asking that [ITAN] and other guilds encourage noobs to help out when/if they can :)

I have to agree on how nice CtC is when more people join in.. It's actually the reason I joint VO. Bojan got me into CtC by just letting me make a delivery. It instantly gave me a sense of involvement. Involvement which I lost here..

It seems that posting worked. A lot more Itanis have come out to defend and destroy transports. As of this posting the score is: Itani - 1026, Serco - 978.

Remember that even newer players can participate.

Come on guys. The itani need to get in the game. Look at the score. At least defend our transport. The itani tport is being killed alot more then the serco one and that goes through b8.
Please monitor the ctc chans 201 and 202. If it dies in a storm please try to recover the cargo.
