hey all- im goin to buy my joystick today and am stoked to be back and piddle around and get shot up and make some credits-
i played back in 2005 when dr lecter and that gang was runnin up kills- i remember you RelayeR and a few others i see posting on here-
ok to the point- the wraith is gone! hope that new ship is cool-
#2 how much has changed since 2005- i know this game is small fries size -wise (that rhymed) but are you guys still havin fun? are there enough people that get online to have some good interaction? i just remember havein a good chill time- but there was action if you wanted it-
anyways - any response is good- im lookin forward to playin tonite

man- big mistake- point with your mouse where u wanna go- and click-

There's no shame in trying EVE - we all did. I was even in the beta. I think we all came to the same conclusion that you have.
This is an exciting time to return. Many of the things that were always going to happen "Soon" (but didn't due to a variety of unforseeable issues) are now going into place.
A lot of faction and economy infrastructure is being added in now. The ships are pretty much the same, but now the devs have the tools to quickly and easily tweak their performance and to make variants. There is no new weapon art, but the devs can also tweak them easily and make variants.
It is still possible to both chill and to find a fight when you want it.

Also, a point of order: Its still possible to to purchase the Axia-variant Wraith, rather than the newer "Revenant" models, if you so desire (this in intentional, not an oversight).

i actually went by mikmouse24 (because i didnt knwo i could change names at the time) i played for about 6-8 months i think- then all my friends went to wow- and im still havin a blast there- but im more of a sci-fi spaceship guy and needed to come back-
-i had left off at corvus and finally made it back to itani space- after gettin shot up - all monies and ships gone- yay for ec-89 i guess- time to start all back! but hey at least i didnt lose my licenses-

heh, $ grind? Quicktip, take an ec89 equip a mining beam (I believe you can with ec's), find the first rock you see closest to the station. Mine the crap out of it while jettisoning all the cargo. do this to several roids, pick up as mcuh as you can hold, land, sel, take off, pick up land sell. etc.
You can make enough money to buy a bigger ship fairly quickly, like a rev. Mine with it, etc. in an hour or so you should have enough money for the necessities.
(that's pretty much the way I did it)

so i found that i had left all my expensive goodies scattered throughout itani space- and it was like christmas morning when i figured out they were all still there!
SO- im ahead of the game- now to make more$ so i can afford to get blowd up!
