I always hear these rumors that veteran players have 50 million credits hoarded up, and I was just curious whether or not that was true. Just how much money do you have to have before being considered "rich"?
I have been playing for about one month and my character has 279994 credits. (0.280 mil)

/me has .2 mill stored up on one char, and a 3mill bounty from bountybot on another. The .2 mill will go to making [syn]n00b's bounty bigger. (after propper investing in some nano-widgets ofcource)
1.8 mil in one char and .5 mil in the other.
i have 5mil in my "Sovereign" character.
9mil in Roguelazer
7mil in ItaniNation(Vault)
1mil in Ion_Fighter
17mil Total
In other news, Ask Phoenix. I heard he has 44mil.

I used to have a cool mil, but that went fast and now I'm down to 200k and trading in an Atlas. In Vendetta, things are expensive, so you need some mad cash to be considered rich.
I have about 3.5 mil. I generally trade till I have 4.2 mil and then end up dying a lot for some reason.
im at a little over 55 mil

I actually did a test and was able to start from scratch and had made 1 mil in a little over an hour's time. (no gifts from other players)
On my main character I usually keep between 1 and 2 million. don't have any reason to keep trading with that much just sitting there. Not to mention, I still have 2 mil sitting in Starfreeze's bank vault.

Now? 7.3 million credits.
I used to have 10 million.
Trading has become A LOT harder with the removal of boost tapping. Rocket rammers and Valk jockeys now have a huge advantage because of it, making it harder for traders to escape (sometimes even downright impossible).
/me sighs.

at one point, I had over 15 mil. Right before I gave it all away, I had 9.6 mil. Of course, now, 0. :)
I keep about 50k-1mil in my 4 normal characters and 15mil in the gold vault but that's not mine ;)
Arolte: I don't agree. Even if it was true, this isn't bad - in this case, trading becomes teamwork, meaning fighter escorted convoys, which is quite a good idea.
This could be similar to the new and improved cappings - capping became real teamwork, a lone capper right now has extremely slim chances to capture the flag - even without a human player interfering. (Scuba Steve managed to succeed - but only after a lot of attempts).
So, even being mostly a trader, I like the idea of teamwork when trading...
