But, yeah, this is a great guild. Was great fun while it lasted.

Always been a favourite of mine, as predictable as that might be. But Border Patrol is now a close second. Guilds like these really should have honourary NPCs and factions named after them. Thought perhaps not named from ALL the characters in DPR... ;-)

Actually Cary Elwes played the "hero", Westley, who played the part of Dread Pirate Roberts, but you still should see the movie.

Personally, I think the Dread Pirate Cummerbund has quite a nice ring to it.

Check out Fanfilms.com when you get a chance. There's a fan film there that blends the sword duel between Inigo and the "Man in black" with Star Wars - they do the whole scene as a lightsaber battle. It's freaking hilarious.

Some of these fan films are of astonishingly high quality in their direction, writing, and creativity.

isnt it about time that the guild lists were purged?

there are ppl in some guilds that i have never heard of, let alone never see them online.

There is no reasonable reason to use use precious developertime to remove the inactive guilds. There is no memory crunch, Guildsoftware has a liberal account hiatus policy which makes it is difficult to declare a guild is inactive when the inactive player accounts have not been purged. There is no restriction to the total number of guilds formed, and these guilds are not doing anything to harm you through their presence in name only.

I don't think inactive guilds are going to hurt the game reviews. This is one thing I can clearly say, don't make it a priority.

upon researching deeper into these "one-person-guilds", it just looks like there is nobody that actually playes this game.

yes i know that there are real guilds out there with only one player's alt as a member too (usually a bank char) but looking at some of these mock guilds just looks bad for the community imo.

Although, everyone has NOT MENTIONED the obvious reason for this guild dropping down to 1 member:

This means that most of the players (we know who you are) who were part of the border patrol guild now suddenly have a need for that extra character slot. Meaning new alts are on the rise.
