You forgot "The moth was not yet in play ", Smittens, and the corollary "At first the moth didn't fit into the docking bays".
o.O I remember when there was no Moth. I also remember when NPCs used Atlases instaid of moths.

When there wasn't any secret wormholes, and the wormholes themselves were giant sphere's that you had to enter before you could jump. CTF ruled supreme in the universe of no more than 9 sectors...
