My Serco skin is coming along quite nicely. I'll need some help making the radar look good, and then once Ray answers my other questions I can post to the wiki. No more blue client for me!

I got my question answered, and I've fixed stuff up. If some good Serco graphic guru could take this idea: http://www.freewebs.com/calderzone/hud%5Fradar.png and jazz it up a bit, I could post my completed skin.

Heh, well, by mistake, I got my *You must enter the worm hole/storm exit* arrows kinda flashing, hehe, well, anyways, it was not that hard, but by heck, its kinda neat, heres a vid!

Did you use 1px or less wide lines there? That would explain why the flashing gets faster the closer you get. The game aliases your lines away.

Here's mine: It's only a hud till now, but i might make a station interface in some distant future :)

The powerbars got a bit messed up while rescaling and the lower station menu turned out black ..which I've noticed too late

Lukasn, your is really good, though for the radar I'll PREFER it if the inner yellow dots were not so thick and fuzzy. Other then that it's pretty awesome. :)

Alright, nooby image editing question. Using Gimp, how the heck do I draw a straight line or a curve without freehanding it?

You use a mac right? In that case I cant help, except to say, there is a Linux for Mac too you know! Infact, Linux will run on everything, including super evil robots! Pitty there isnt a Native PPC VO Linux client, but hey, what the hell, you never heard of dual booting? :P

Nah, really, if it wont run, its prolly cos it depends on something you dont have installed, but im _not_ a mac guy, so ehum, i dunno, goto the gimp forums or something!

Have you installed X11? If you run Tiger, get it from your install disk. If you run Panther, get it off of Apple's site.
