W00t! I was first to fly the TPG Raptor, and Seta Ralel was the first to destroy one. It feels like something in-between a MkI Vulture and Hornet.

FYI, I know the final TPG "test pilot" mission has problems sending messages. I'm not sure why. It's completable (obviously), but just doesn't send you any instructions after you start.

How much does it cost?

I purchased the Raptor for around 11500 credits.

If Mission #2 fails to send messages to you, aborting the mission and taking another (and aborting that, and taking Mission #2 again) seems to work.

I can't survive the second half of Mission #3 because of the horrendous lag I get when faced with 20 bots at close range (bots teleport all around the sector, I get damaged by shots I can't see, my weapons don't fire sometimes, etc. All this, and my ping's only about 200). No raptor for me. :-/

Also, the weapon drop rate is set really high. People are picking up high-level weapons and batteries and bots left, right and centre.

When I took mission #2, it messaged me after killing a few bots - not after finishing off the sector - that might be the problem people are getting.

Also, I was getting some lighting problems with the Raptor - when moving in closer to it, it suddently became a much lighter shade. I have distance and close detail both set at 20. Nothing terribly dramatic - but it was noticeable.

You nerfed the valk... WTF?

If your gunna drop the valk to 225, you should at leasdt give it infiniboost back :<

Everything else is neat though, stuff dropping guns rules!

Heh. OK, now that I got some sleep, I'm gonna try to complete the third mission again. When I finish it, I never get a completion message telling me to dock. I'll try it at another station. TPG capital in Dau must not like me. I wonder if it's because of the time I rammed them in my Behemoth after that all-night party in Azek?

Could you please make the Raptor missions not lead to sectors with queens? Thank you :) Happened to me twice in a row...

I could not finsh the missions in UIT space but in grey space i compleated it with ease.

The 3rd misson though in grey space let me kill 5 bots till i went to the final part :)

I tried the new moth, survived to a bulk mission despite crossing three storms, though I didn't get attacked.
My opinion is that the moth as it is now is well balanced for a trade level 8 ship, and follows the marauder in a logical way.
Now, as trade 14 myself, I would really hope to find something faster and more efficient at higher levels than 8. I remember some screenshots of Luis ships, some were called freighters.
( the 'big nose' one ).
What can we expect of those future ships ?

next logical step- make dropped weapons have slightly randomised stats.

About half the time, the TPG Test Pilot mission failed to spawn bots. It also refuses to spawn bots if there are any other players in the target sector.
